Bouncin' around.

Inconspicuous. Hah. The young woman ruefully shook her head, the white cowl softly rustling about her head and shoulders. A tanned, slender hand tugged at the hood, hoping it would fall deeper about her.
"I think I set a record.", she muttered, boots softly scuffing down the street outside of the Arena. Less than ten minutes elapsed since she was in the basement of the Inn til the first person whispered to her.. 'welcome back'. Erroneously, of course, because she wasn't back in the way most people would assume; just visiting, hopping runegates and popping in when least expected. It was enough for the 'tender at the Inn's front desk to open
up a mailbox in her name, which quickly became stuffed with queries, questions, and well-wishing sentiments.
There were, thankfully, those in the ranks of the duelers who had not recognized her as of yet. It was purely an excercise in self-amusement to remain concealed, because she had no real purpose in doing so. Notions of returning to try for a ring she never held only fleetingly crossed her mind. No time to play for a goal like that. Her contentment was simply in the fact she was able to hear familiar voices, see familiar sights, however
briefly.
She hoped that somehow, folks of the Arena would realize she was now a visitor, somewhat of an outsider, and only roaming through to chat, visit, and relive some of the fun of her short tenure in the rings. Maybe she'd pick on some friends and hope to deal them a loss.
Peering about cautiously, the young woman steathily slid a hand into the pocket of the robe, unwrapping a curiously small package. With a sigh of almost sultry contentment, the package went into her mouth. Jaws working, the girl exhaled slowly. There was a soft pop, a crack, and the glint of teeth in a smile.
Unnoticed, the wrapper wafted to the cobblestones below, coming to rest a few feet in front of the Inn's exit.

Phil wandered around, then came to the door of the Inn. He looked to the ground, noticing a small gum wrapper. He picked it up and said to himself, " She never did throw these away. Some people never change. " Phil then smiled and wandered on.

Goon, in all his bumbling glory, blinked at the wrapper on the ground. Scratching his head, he sort of felt like he should maybe know why it seemed familiar.. but instead, he wandered off, back to the forest to sleep.

Elle McBride's nose regularly remained stuffed too high in the air to sightly behold things that rested upon the dirt-trodden ground, such as gum wrappers and peasants of the like. She strolled right over the stagnant gum shell, boot soundly crunching atop it as she passed and stepped into the fiesty inn.

Slothie wandered around in the empty Arena in the middle of the day, just relaxing for a bit before he had to be back at work. As he looked through the trophy covered walls at past mementos, he pulled absently at the collar of his dress shirt and shrugged his suited shoulders. At the end of the wall hung the banners of the Team Dueling league with the red and gold Loincloth emblem somewhere near the middle.

Strangely enough, there was an envelope pinned to the banner, with a single typed line on it reading "think about it".

Curiosity overcoming his better judgement, Slothie slipped the envelope open and looked dumbfounded at the single gumwrapper inside. As his eyes grew wide, a slow smile spread across his face, lighting it up in a way that had been too long missing from his life.....
