To wot DoS Neutrality?

I think we can all agree that there is a dictionary definition of "neutral" and that there is a personality definition of how one handles "neutrality". Some believe in being totally isolated as to the universe doesn't exsist, and others see it as a way to make sure thier enviroment remains a surviveable balance. However, it seems there is a definite problem with how "Neutral" is meant to be for the Arena of
Swords.

This is not about Dalamar's incident with Evan, but rather the larger issue of what that event has brought about. I am not making this post to attack anyone for their use of rights, but rather to discover the trueth about what the value of "Nuetral" is to the sport and to the community of Swords. Many good points on all sides have been made about dueler's rights and their use of their rights, and this post is not about any opinions of those
points. This post as I said is to find out if being Nuetral is a good or bad thing for not just a dueler but for the greater whole of the sport.

As has been stated, what is the point of being a Neutral Baron, unless you want to be an uninvolved island, with rights to BE involved?

And further, if the Overlord can change the alignment of a Loyal and a Nuetral Baron to Renegade at a whim, than why is it that only the Loyalist can immediatetly have precedent to challenge regardless of the majority of the Universal Terms of Challenge Rules, but not the Neutral?

If the DoS Universal Terms of Challenge Rules regarding the rights and privileges of a Neutral Baron have been written giving them the abilities of power to get involved in title challenges, especially with regards to the Overlord, then doesn't that in effect make them "Balancers" of the Swords political community?

This isn't an an attack on any one person, but rather trying to discover if being a "Nuetral" Baron as written within the rules of Swords is even of value if this is how it is going to remain.

I have one, and only one, question regarding all of this nonsense at this time.

What is the real difference between a Neutral Baron and a Renegade Baron... save for the fact that a Neutral Baron can, if asked, serve as the Overlord's champion... something that's not likely to happen in any event.
It seems to me to be a matter of semantics in regards to the rules.
I thank you in advance for your time.
