Jola has this song going through her head...probably because Ulath is singing it between chuckles. "Coulda been the whiskey...mighta been the beer...coulda been the three or four sixpacks I don't know, but look at the shape I'm in..."
Jola groans as she pulls the pillow over her head, mumbling unintelligible words into the fluff. Her head did feel like a football. Too much Jack Daniels last night. And unfortunately, she could remember every minute, as far as she knew.
Ulath pulls the corner of the pillow up "So was it fun?," he asked with a grin. "Was what fun?," came Jola's tormented reply. "The duel with Onyx. You told me all about it when you got home. " Jola groaned loudly, telling him was something she remembered, though she was trying to forget this whole episode.
"I love you. Now shut up and get me some aspirin."
Ulath was laughing still as he went in search of something to ease Jola's aching head. He still was wondering why Rand brought her home barefoot, and where her boots were...

KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.
The first pound on the door brought Jaycy bolting from her chair in surprise, the last two, a wince as the pain in her throbbing head increased. Where was she? Oh, she was in her office. A small puddle lay on one of her important papers, the document having served as a makeshift pillow. With a soft groan she dropped back in her chair as the door opened. Oh gods, that was stupid. Mixing Jack Daniels, vodka, and scotch like that. Then dueling
afterwards. And to top it all off, going to the GIT. Gods, she had made a fool of herself there... as she had the entire night. And she was definitely paying for it now.
A sea of reddish-gold waves peeked through the door, followed by a matching pair of eyes. "Mommy?" the little girl whispered.
"Yes, Dawn?" was the weary reply, and with that the young girl bounced into the office, pale violet wingtips flapping with each hop. With a bright, annoying smile, the child tilted her head, studying her mother as the gypsy woman stared at the papers before her, not quite ready to bring her head up to look at her daughter. "Mommy?" the girl repeated. "Are you okay? You look tired, should sleep." She nodded several times to prove her point, and
Jaycy couldn't help but smile.
"I've gotta finish some things here, I'll be asleep soon enough."
Dawn nodded once more, with that bright grin, and cheerily replied "Okay!" before bouncing out of the office, thankfully closing the door behind her. As soon as the child was gone, with one last soft groan, Jaycy's head dropped to the desk and she drifted off to sleep once more, on her pillow of paperwork and drool.

Onyx swung her legs over the side of the bed, her hair a tangled nest, and a crease from the bedclothes decorated her her face and shoulder. She tipped her head back for the mother of all yawns, arms extended and shaking a bit as she stretches mightily. An unladylike scratch to her bare belly follows. Her brows beetle at the somewhat obnoxious twerping of the morning birds outside the bedroom. She cursed the lack of
sleep she obtained, but blessed her unusually high metabolism. A half smile infects her grumpy expression, she slurs in justwokeup-ese.
"Ah wonder if'n Jola an' Jayc got hom' alright. Hehehe, they were...*Dee-runk*. "
She sniffs in a short amount of air, and chuckles. "I swear we all need ta do this mor' often."
Padding to the cluttered bathroom in order to put her hair in some socially acceptable order, she replays the duel in her mind. Grinning at her sleep puffy eyes in the mirror, she thinks, "It was worth losing, I'd say. Sure she was little bit tanked, but also had distraction up her sleeve. " An even bigger grin. "....What sleeve? Ah, and I bet Kal, and Rand had the best time." She shrugs. " I wonder what the new one was thinking. " She laughs loudly,
as she displays unearthly co-ordination by tearing at the knots in the tips of her hair, yet at the same time pushing the hot water tap on her tub on with her big toe. Wobbling, but balanced. " No doubt that guy thinks everyone is just..odd. "
Breaking the silence of her thoughts, she mutters, "Hmmph" shrugging on the way, as her foot moves to add the right amount of cold water to her bath. She restarts her silent oration.
" Ah well, I didn't duel too bad, I even got a compliment from Rand. And compliments are always accepted at La Maison d'Onyx." She chuckles, stepping one foot at a time into her tub, brimming with the warmest water. Letting out a sigh of absolute enjoyment as she immerses herself, she quickly scrubs soap to cloth, building up a slippery lather. Short, brisk sweeps of the cloth follow as she thinks, " Got to remember to thank Kal for dropping me off.
Since Petey's been wandering off, another pair of wings comes in handy."
The birds outside are the victims of her growl, their songs a tad more piercing to her sensitive ears than usual, but a smile still comes to her face as she peers out the door into the other room, spying the untidy ball of grey silk and black leather lash. " Now that was *entertainment*!"
