Molleen was beginning to see the basement annex architecture in her sleep and in her dreams. Tormay was becoming more and more interested with the activities held there. This morning he had begged her again to take him. Since domestic chores were complete, she agreed.
"Wait, I forgot something, Molleen."
He always forgot something. She waited patiently to see what toy he would drag along. His tiny legs skipped away to the backyard. She watched him climb up the ladder and into the treehouse. She watched him climb back down with a satisfied grin.
"member when mummy gave this to me for my birthday?"
"Tormay those pieces might get broken. I wouldn't take that if I were you."
She watched him fold the toy up into a suitcase. The miniature replica of the DoS and it's figurines had been well used by Tormay's imagination. Almost every day, he played with the small figurines giving each and everyone a name. One of the figures fell out of the suitcase to the ground. Molleen picked it up and studied it. The figurine wore a crown embedded with tiny sparkling jewels. Remnants of Tormay's fairy dust clung to the clothing
material of the small doll.
"I have to take them. I might see Slainy. I made a promise and I'm not gonna break it." Tormay explained.
"This one really does look like the Overlord, Tormay." She said, as she handed him the small figure.
"that's why I named it Dalamar." He reopened the case and inserted Dalamar and then closed it again. "Okay, I ready."
Molleen stopped at the cork board to satisfy Tormay's new habit. He was, afterall, becoming quite adept with reading skills. Although, he did not understand the contents and meanings of the messages, she noticed how he progressively got better in pronounciations. He sat his case down on a nearby chair and began reading.
"I, Lord Dalamar Ar'Daumon, do hereby accept the challenge made by the OverBorg." Tormay giggled and held his forefinger on the word, 'overborg'.
"That sounds funny."
Molleen reminded him that it was not nice to make fun of names.
DoS miniature replica's.
