::a parchment is nailed to the wooden borders of the corkboard, the script intricate, yet easily read, there for all to see::
Attention!
Fall is rapidly approaching and, with it, a new season for many of the dueling sports. This fall, ColdStar Entertainment, in association with Degrazzi Enterprises, is proud to announce the opening of the latest dueling league to form within the known Realms! The Extreme Dueling League, a league like no other, has opened its doors and is ready to take off!
We're looking to pick up where other leagues have left off. Extreme dueling at its finest, only the strongest teams will survive within this league. Focusing on raw skill, power, and intelligence, the XDC will usher in a new era in dueling greatness! The only way you can say you're better is to prove it! Imagine a match that goes on for twenty grueling rounds, no 'fancy' stuff to fall back on, no ranks differentiating one duelist
from the next... this, folks... is extreme! Everybody's on equal footing here... the only way to climb to the top, the only way to reach the brass ring... is to start piling up the bodies!
For more information, visit our offices in Harbor City, Valogia, RhyDin or write to:
Nathan Freeling
P.O. Box 979

The sound of Brandon's cane, lightly tapping against the wooden steps, preceded him down the dimly lit stairs of the arena. A steady rhythm echoing through the empty hall, then halting as he stepped off the bottom stair.
The middle aged attorney paused there for a moment. Straightening the sleeves of his white dress shirt, and wiping a bit of cobweb from the shoulder of the navy blue suite coat, slender fingers brushing lightly against the silk. Properly straightened, Brandon took a few steps forward to place himself before the community cork board. After sliding a pair of thin reading spectacles onto his nose, he began to sweep blue-grey eyes across the attached
parchments; pausing as he found the missive from one, Mr. Nathan Freeling.
Brandon was sure that this simple looking advertisement would be the cause of countless hours of lost sleep. His employers were already fuming over intellectual property issues and the future held potential scores of contract disputes. He sighed lightly and withdrew a neatly folded parchment from the inner pocket of his suite coat. Tacking it next to the add from Mr. Freeling, he glanced over it a last time. The missive read:

Duelists,
In light of the formation of a new dueling league, my employers have requested the following public notice.
The Team Dueling League is currently in the process of reviewing it's contracts with both teams and duelists. There are potential issues which could preclude duelists joining the new association from reentering the Team Dueling League at a future time. Before making a decision as to which league (if either) you plan to participate in, we advise that you consult your team captain and the league commissioner (or other official persona). Be sure to
make an informed decision.
Regards,
Brandon J. Fox, esq.
- Regional Council, SwordPlay Industries.

Brandon turned slowly from the board, using the cane to steady his steps. Just a week prior he had been told that the third season would be starting within the month, and now this. He could see the workload piling infront of him almost seeming to block his way back up the stairs.
