::those of even blind sight would note the weathered book attached rather harshly to the Duel of Swords' messaging board, its pages all weathered, but only half typed upon. The free pages remain as a place for the arena's patrons to scribe their comments about the growing historical diary of a man's tramatic period of life, no matter how insignificant those comments may be::

Entry One: The Setting

Fire flowered in beautiful blossoms of light in the sky amidst streaks of laser-blue and various models of the newest air calvalry fighters. Mechanized units of human resemblance and massive tanks sung out a gorgeous music in harmony with the screams and weapons of foot soldiers. The base under siege added to the symphony and entertaining light show with its own weapons and troops. Spectators were luxuriously allowed to enjoy the entertainment
with lighting via the array of fire and blasts. Despite what agony-filled moans and explosions of death may imply, the true battle took place within the steel cube of a military base.
