Challenge for the 4th Ring

Folks of DoS,

I've waited a long time to do this, and the reasons for my wait are my own. I find it easier to explain who I am not challenging and why, than explaining why I am challenging who I am.

My main requirement is that it must be a loyal baron. The problem is that too many of them are my friends, or at least I am friendly with them, and I do not want to be the one to take the ring from them, even though I disagree with Dalamar's perceived policies. Therefore, of the choices, it comes down to Zen Rising.

I do not consider Zen an enemy, but I do not know him well.

I am challenging because since my return to RhyDin, and my learning of the baronies, that has been a goal of mine. It's time to achieve that goal. I respectfully await Baron Zen Rising's response.

Ummmm, Jola, can I make one small comment? You do know, don't you, that Zen has joined House Rising and that his days as a Loyal Baron are actually quite numbered? Just thought I'd bring this up.

No, didn't know, and it doesn't matter really. :)

And I noticed an error I made in my peer wins.

MoneyBlade=RolandSal. Hmpf, keep yer names the same, eh? :)

Well, it is obvious who I am going to root for. I really like Jola, but Zen is, after all, my partner and a member of my House. For obvious reasons, I want to see him win. I know you can do well Zen, so just do your best and my fortune be with you.
Jola, I like you a lot, and I think you would make a great Baron. I just wish you had challenged someone else. Good luck, and may you also do your best.

Seems that no matter who one chooses to challenge, there is always some problem or controversy. In this case? Zen might change alignments, and Huma has said that the 4th ring is his and that he'll take it back no matter who is holding it.

DoS Folks,

Zen Rising has accepted my challenge for his ring, the 4th Baronial ring. The date and time, as he stated, will be Sunday at 9 pm by the Eastern Clock, either in the Basement Annex, or on the Battlefield.

I will be dueling under the colors of the Fici Family, black and silver, as well as the shadow gray and dark blue of the House Dragoon-Talanador.

My second will be announced at the challenge.

My Man-of-Honor is always my husband, Ulath, past Overlord and Baron of the Duel of Swords.
