Baron Lupton,

I am sure that the following comes with no surprise. I hold no positive feelings for you as a Baron, let alone a gentleman. I will step forward again, not only as before in the name of my loss, Braeger, but now with a desire to wrest the ring from your grasp with other feelings. I tempt fate with an ill wrought challenge to see how much you believe in your words of charity and forgiveness of your olden times.

I have no second, and in trueth, have no lord of honor anymore. I approach you as an adopted child of the rings. I hope to become the commoners Baroness, one who would champion the cause of all ranks, share drinks with the disheartened, and walk with the castoff.

I would, if I can keep this goal, be the antithesis of what you have always appeared to stand for in the eyes of many.

Warlord Gloria,

I am touched with simultaneous surprise and sadness at the announcement of your challenge. I had hoped that following our previous duel ye would be capable of moving on from your husband's most tragic death. However, this is obviously not the case.

Your quest, however noble, is indeed misguided. I am not the antithesis of humanity as ye propose, but rather one who requires reason to hold a man or woman in respect before granting it to them.

Also, if ye are to set yourself as such a role model, please realize the proper etiquette and customs of the sport that has so adopted ye deems it is right to not only notify Helix, Goldendust, and myself, but the other Barons as well when submitting a challenge. I will offer a former reply, date, and time when I have such information available to me.

G'nort takes note of the retraction from Gloria, scratches his chin slowly and smiles. Not seeing anything that looks like a challenge after hers, he chuckles.

Grinning to himself, he strides off to his tavern to look for some official paperwork.
