I'm reminded of a guy I learned about. Name was Charles Guiteau. See, this guy was nuts.
The short story of it is he thought he helped a guy get a presidency, which is kinda like the Overlord around here. He really didn't do crap for the president, but he thought he did.
Guiteau kept asking for high positions from the president, like being placed in a comfy and easy job, as payment for helping the president get elected. The president didn't bother to respond.
Guiteau, being the nutbag he was, decided he wouldn't be so loyal to the president anymore and he would remove the pres from his position. So, he killed the president, all in the name of a righteous high power. Like I said, nuts.
This Adonai guy reminds me of Guiteau.

Percival,
I once against break my word of not posting in regards to this matter, but I do hope this will be the last time I post.
I spoke to you a few weeks back about my reasons for challenging. Admittedly, Avery's stance as a Renegade did effect my decision to pursue the ring now, as I stated in my letter of challenge, which was tacked upon the Boards, but I had a much more personal reason for this challenge, as I had thought you understood.

Lord Kalamere,
What you say and that which you choose to do is your own affair. I do not condemn nor attempt to call you wrong.
It seems amidst my opinions you lost the true meaning of my reply to you......but that is the way of things. Opinions are just that, and you have yours...and I have mine. Stand by them.
You call me OathBreaker, a strong name...and mayhaps a wrong one. You say I do not deserve an uncontested challenge....that I believe would put you in the category of OathBreaker. You had been strongly opposed to the Test. But in my case you make an exception. I am not sure why....but this bothers me somewhat.
I challenged Gimmzak Stonecutter for the main reason that unlike you, or many others in title.....he would respond honorablly. He is a fair and even man and does not play the games of politics that run so rampantly. I had mentioned his possible lack of use of the test because it is an option that I am sure he would consider. As well as the fact that Dalamar will more than likely offer his blade in defense of a loyal agaisnt a
known Renegade....that which he convieniently forgot to do for General Perrinis in your case.
You read far to deeply into my posts m'lord. As I said, I mention none of this in attempt to change your mind....just to offer it up for general information.
Now....please do me the honor of not continuing to muck up an honorable challenge. Betweem your fairly well offered opinions, Percivals offerings, the mad ravings of the Overlord and the general garbage that has accumulated here its all gotten rather boring.....hell I believe I just skipped half the accumulated posts merely on the fact that most of it is just more digs and a meaningless crap. At least Lord Lupton had something
meaningful to say....the rest of it is basically opinions...and insults. Not very impressive, nor informative. I basically pay attention to what you have to say merely on the fact that there is a basic amount of respect for you within me, no matter your position.
So have a fine day old man, and everyone else have a fine one also.

A few questions...
Did Perrinis ask for Dalamar's intercession? Did the two of them ever once discuss the possibility?
On another subject... It was fairly well known for more than a month now that I intended to challenge Avery. My personal code requires that a Baron hold their ring for at least three months before I challenge, so Sartan was able to challenge before I formally announced my own. Does that make me a tool of the OverLord? Does that make me part of the "Great Conspiracy?"
I think not.

On the off chance this might be taken as insulting, I apologize in advance.
Drake...and umm..anyone else mumbling things about conspiracys and general things that have nothing to do with my challenge....do me a favor and move this debate to another venue.
Theres already a large stack of worthless posts here. Lets not generate any more. My opinions were offered up offhand in not in the purpose of general debate. So move along people. If your this desperate for a fight....go make one of your own.

Fellow Patrons of the Duel of Swords,
This post will be brief, and it is only for general information purposes, so that I may end some of the speculating. I did offer my blade in defense of General Perrinis, but he declined, wishing to fight Kalamere on his own. Normally I would keep my silence, but I felt it necessary to clear this up so that the talks of conspiracy in that situation could be put to an end. Thank you.
respectfully,
Lord Dalamar Ar'Daumon

::The dwarf having recieved notce of the challenge on the battlefield was teleported safely back to the confines of Dragon mountain. Once there he hastily made his way back to the arena and found himself standing in front of the ancient corkboard. Shaking his head he reads note after note, sometimes laughing, sometimes just shaking his head::
How can a man calim to make an honorable challenge, then take jabs at me.
Is it honorable that I'm being used merly as a stepstool just because he wants a shot at Dal untested?
::shakes his head and chuckles making his way back home, first leaving a simple note for his challenger.::
Accepted.

After several days' thought, Jaycy moves to the boards and posts a short note in response to Adonai's apology.
Adonai--
I apologize for the harsh tone of my words in my earlier writings. However, please know, in my own mind, I believed they were called for. However, that did not make it right, and for that I apologize. It was a personal matter that I, in my anger, brought to public view. For that I apologize. I do not apologize for the fact I made assumptions, but for the fact I made them public in the manner I did.
I accept your apology, if you accept mine.
Simply,
Jaycy

Jaycynda,
I am a forgiving man.....I have to be....with my nature....as oft times I must forgive myself.
An apology though lass....was not necessary here other than a clarification of your thoughts. There are those that would see me as a power mad lunatic.....but that is far from the case....I am fallible...and not always of the deepest understanding of that which surrounds me. You have offered clarification....where no others have done more than offer insult or belittlement......and for that....I salute you as an open mind, and a
goat....for you would never be seen as a ewe with a mind such as yours.
Apology unecessary....though mine might have been. Be well lass.

Noticing a sticky spot on the board, quirks a smile, snaps her fingers conjuring a teeny weeny, itsy bitsty violin. Leaves it stuck to the sticky spot.
