Ok, everyone..get ready to be in complete discust with me. After much deliberation I came to a conclusion. A question of honor? I'll burn in hell for this, but I am going to push my challenge forth untill it's end. Why? Here's why. I think it is high time RhyDin got a new Overlord. Now I may not be the best for the job, but I have a damn good chance to at least get him out. *If* I get the crown..bring on the challenges.
What about my word of honor as to the duel betwen me and Jeff? Well, lets break this down. First, because *I* wished to live by the rules in which we are bound, Baron Oaknshield began to insult me. Dalamar had a comitment to the crown that no matter what, he is to show up to defend his crown. In which he did not. A rule was broken, time to pay the penalty. For those of you who know me, it should be obvious I threw the duel with baron Oakenshield.
Why? Well, that's simple to. I try to be mild tempered..even though it is rarely seen. Anyway, I threw the duel to just put an end to this. I am tired of alot of things around here. I'll be damned if I will just stand by and do nothing anymore. I am in position to make a change for the better...even though others would disagree.
Call me what you will, I expect nothing less. This may not be the best way to get the job done, but it's the path I've laid, and I will ride it untill the end. I am not seeking support, respect, or friends. that is something long since gone for me around here. Dueling is no longer even fun for me. The political positions here are now so stressful, I question why I even challenged in the first place...and the answer is that maybe others will be
motivated to make a difference and clean this rat trap up some.
As I said, hate me if you will. I am not trying to be the bad guy here, it just seems to be happening that way.

Before you backed down on your word, I found your intentions and then later rescinding your challenge as honorable, because although you let anger get to your head (as we all do), and dueled against a consequence you couldn't handle, you accepted it. That's what earned respect from me.
I can't say the same thing about you now, not after you backed out on your word. I am stating this as mildly as possible, without starting some mudslinging. I am sure you understand my point.

For the record, as you appear to believe that public opion of you was low before this, I would like to say that you gained a tremendous amount of respect in my eyes last night. Standing up to the insult as you did and holding true to the terms. It has been a long time since DoS has seen such a duel of honor as between yourself and Jeffery and I found it a breath of fresh air.

I do believe the Overlord should stand before the Council as a few barons have
