::reads through the many postings, laughing merrily...her green eyes sparkling::
Ah, Lord Huma ya do cause a stir !!!
::wanders from the ancient board, her long skirts rustling softly as she heads home to Rosevale Manor to soothe her dear husband, knowing his mood is dark. Murmurs:: Skill be with you, m'lord Huma.
~Lady Noelle

<<Huma doesn't enjoy dueling, he doesn't like da politics, he has no honor, ya can't trust his word, and he doesn't even look fer friendship. Yet he's goin' fer Overlord? Anyone else see somethin' wrong here?>>
It's better than a corrupt, elderly politician who plays childish games and brings others down to boost his fame.

>> Although Baron Oakenshield did have some rather biting criticism of Huma, it was Huma that proposed the match of honor, and the wager. I thought it was a bad idea in the first place, but my opinion doesn't matter.<<
As I read Walker's remarks here for all to see.. I have to wonder, just what criticism Jeff had of Huma.

::continues reading the boards quietly taking care in what is siad and what is not, shocked to find himself agreeing with Adonai's comments and wonders if ever something will go on around here without the childish name calling and mud slinging::

Perri...
You write... "We need a new sport, Lupton, one I wouldn't be ashamed to raise my daughter in the vicinity of. I'd wash Delilah's mouth out with soap -and- take away her red crayons if she ever got half as venomous and cruel as the "sporting patrons" around here have become."
The gods be praised that our daughter is being raised by the two of us and will likely never get that way... But if you -do- wash her mouth out with soap, I'll do the same to you!
A child that is raised with love, grows to be loving...
A child that is raised with spite, grows to be spiteful...
Maybe that is what is wrong with the sport I so love... to few remain to keep it whole, and only the spite remains.
