Dueling and posting

Humans, demi-humans, and gods of this sport,

I've come back. And I am having the hardest time dueling. Not because no one wants to duel me, it's because whenever I go into the Arena there is no one there. Ye people spend more time arguing on these stupid boards of paper than ye do dueling. When I was here, me and me peers of all ranks dueled with flying passion and I spend an hour finding one person te duel, but I see these boards, and sure enough there is three posts with ten to thirty pieces
of paper stuck behind it. I want to duel not hear ye talk. Put your time where it will make a differance. Hold your tongue or cut it off.

Stumpy Wrut

Mayhap thee should request the serving kids to craft thee a stool, tis certes thine short legs what mayhap nae be permitting thee a view of the manna that frequent the cavern.

Now tis well known manna dwarven folk be gruff, taciturn and e'en ill tempered, but they also be well known for their construction work. Perhaps ye canst show the kids how to build ye a little screen so ye nae need see all the paper and such upon the cork board.

Come now, Jona, this is no place for insults. But, I do seem to find many people here. Maybe you' are not lookin' in the right places Wrut. I would be glad to duel you any time. I have not been here long, but I wanna duel anyone possible, especially people who have knowledge of the sport.

Come now Merc

Since when ist suggesting that the dwarf stand on a stool so he can see over the heads of the tall folk an insult? You are new come to the duels, youngster. Perhaps thine skin is thin. Methinks Stumpy Wrut, solid ast most dwarves are, ist quite capable of speaking for himself if he so wishes to.

Perhaps I misunderstood you. It sounded to me as if you were making an attack againct Wrut and his people. And even if you were I'm quite sure he would be able to defend himself.

::Chuckles at the sheer insanity of the responces and arguements following this post.::

Stumpy Wrut...

I understand what you mean... I am usually there myself in the late hours, usually on the couch calling what few duels come by. All I can suggest is coming in a wee bit earlier.
And heck, if it's slow enough, maybe you can duel the caller...

Thou said: "Ye people spend more time arguing on these stupid boards of paper than ye do dueling."
And I say: That's because the refs aren't here until 8.
