Before this Duel between Jeff and Huma, I held Huma in high respect, and I held him as a friend. Now after the duel, I have lost respect for the man, but that does not make him any less my friend. Could I cast the vote on Jeff? I sure could....why? Because I am not blind, maybe justic is, maybe some of the people voting are (I'm not singling anyone out here) I know the facts. I am not calling for Huma to be stripped of his right to challenge. I am
not calling for any penalty on Huma at all.
What I did vote on, was that Dal retained the crown, what happens next is...well, Phase II I believe. The bottom line M'lord Girvin is yes, I would and could cast the vote to have Jeff give up his ring, but I know it is something I will never have to do because Jeff wouldn't let it come to this. What Huma does, Huma must live with, this council should not be able to stop him because he broke his word. This was something I stated before.
As for breaking my word, Yes I'm sure I have in the past. I think everyone goes back on their word at least once in thier life, no matter how big or small the issue.

Since ast thou hast stated thee dinna frequent the dueling house, making comment upon Master Troyan, his behavior and his motives ist most unusual, unless thou, Sir, hast a hidden agenda of thine own, mayhap?
Master Troyan ist a most abrasive lad, he dinna couch his comments in a genteel manner nor does he "pull his punches" in the rings, yet I have witnessed upon more than one occasion his manner toward wee ones. Let it nae be said if one looks hard enough one can find some good in anyone. Though I shall admit, tis to find it in some, one mayhap wouldst have to have either preternatural eyesight or the most advanced of cybernetics installed in ones
