It was well into the early morning hours when Pady and his group scattered and disappeared into the thick pockets of fog that lay about RhyDin town streets.

"psst, you sir", the low whisper startled the lanky Irishman, as he instinctively drew his sword, eyes searching thru the swirls of mist.

The hidding man positioned himself against a lampost, the flame of which did nothing but cast light atop the heavy blanket of fog below.

"Eh, show yourself, ya shaggin' coward", Pady's tone growled in warning.

"That is not required sir, for I only wish to relay a message to you and the masses that seek justice.", the informers voice calm, with a well bred and educated accent.

Pady backed against a brick wall, his sword ready.

"aye then, speak before me wits fail and me blade seeks yer throat."

There was a space of silence as Pady listened, head cocked trying to gain the positional advantage.

The man's tone was even as he spoke,
"Mark these words, Pady O'Duel, he could have sent word. There are those who knew and said nothing as Lord Dragonbane stood in waiting."

Pady swallowed hard and spit,
"th' bastards"

He kept still against the cool wall, sword in hand, as the faint echo of a mans boots upon cobblestone faded into the mist filled RhyDin morning.

"aye, th' bastards"
