Lords and Ladies of RhyDin
On this eve, the 18th of October, I did have the Honor and Privilege to witness the challenge for the Eleventh Baronial Ring.
The Baron Gimzak Stonecutter met with the Warlord Adonai Uziel on the field of Honor in the Baron's first defense of his ring.
The Baron dueled under the dual colors of House Dragoon-Talanador and The Dwarven Clan of Irongate, Shadow Dragon hide with Blue Dragon hide outlines. His second was the Warlord Percival Marchand de Clermont, known also as "The White Duke". He dueled for the Honor of his dear and longtime friend, Lady Jaycynda Ashleana.
The Warlord dueled under the Standard of the Valheru....a Black Sun on a Crimson Shield. He was to be seconded by Dem Cyrax, the Avatar to the God of War. Lord Cyrax was unable to attend, and so Duke Uziel stood alone.
Hie dueled for the Honor of his daughter, Lady Aislain Uziel.
This evening proved to be most challenging and entertaining, as the Overlord did interceed on behalf of the Loyal Baron. On behalf of the Warlord, Renegade Baron Sir Magnus Eques did interceed as well.

Under the most trying of times and under the saddest of circumstances thou didst stand forth in support of thine Loyal Baron, Gimmzak Stonecutter, trading blow for blow, blood for blood upon the sands of the rings and didst again present nae only a magnificent display of bladesmanship, but stood forth again as a shining example of Honor ast nae only a man but ast Overlord of this ancient and noble hall.
