Colleen, lassie,

Tis always amusing reading your comments, particularly the ones containing what ye think ye know about me, or for that matter what ye know about anything. Tis rarely I do get such an enjoyable laugh.

Drake

Oh, dear, I'm wounded to the very quick.

Jona.

Laughs merrily as she overhears the muttering, snags a quill, penning a note, tacks it up.

Colleen, me dear,

Yuir so knowledgeable, why dinna ye do some research, ye may find out.
I shall tell ye this lass, some of those what prance around in uniform now couldna hold a candle to those what wore it proudly in the past.
Ast ta' Aces and Eights, lass, if ye research that a wee bit, ye will find tis a myth perpetuated to the witless in penny novels some centuries agon. E'en me bairns dinna believe that particular fairy tale.

The seraph and gnome pause at the boards.

Eyes widen as they read about those realigning to renegade. A pouty little frown turns the angels mouth downward as she reads Jona's notes to her friends, Colleen and Drake.

Gnimish and Cygnet just look at each other blankly.

"Foo, Jona has a lot nerve insulting Drakey and Collie, and now the callers."

Cyggy leans against Gnim, her expression weary with an unspoken sadness.

Her voice soft, "some must speak with the acid of spite and contempt to feel good... such a shame, such a waste. I hope Drake and Colleen will rise above the fire with tempered spirits."

"Bah, the old windbag. Drakey-poo should just ignore the hot air of 'Madame Regent'. An' Collie too."

Cygnet gently slips a soft hand over the gnomes mouth, bending closer to his ear as she whispers,"Nimmy... be nice."

Jona,

The former will take a wee bit o' doin', but as ta the later....

Your knowledge o' earth's history lass be most astoundin'. I was living in Colorado in 1876 and history records that in the land called the United States on August 2, 1876 in Deadwood, Dakota territory, one James Butler "Wild Bill" Hickock was killed by Jack McCall while playing poker. Hickock, who had traveled with William "Buffalo Bill" Cody in his wild west show at one time died from a shot to the back of the head. As Hickok fell away from the
table, he spilled his hand, pairs of black aces and eights, known forever after as the "deadman's hand."

((Author's note: Just for a few giggles, I looked it up. I always thought it was a full house.. it was two pair. ;)

Whoa,

When I first came to RhyDin and to the Arena, I figured the Swords was a testosterone driven sport, but it seems the estrogen is flowing to the point of flooding this place so we all drown.
