Stands at the ancient cork, preparing a missive to all concerned in the matters of court as well as those affected by the same. He recalls his oath before the community,to stand loyal to her before all else. Having done all he can to persuade those in power to make the decisions he felt right, he finds himself with no options but to follow his heart in the matter. Slowly he tacks the copies of the notes send to the
Overlord and the Standings keeper, and below it a copy of the letter to Dalamar so as allwould know his feelings::
I wish the records to show tha' I Seamus Mac Donnaugh, do this 25th day of October, declare myself renegade to the Overlord, Dalamar Ar'Daumon.

I have nothing less than respect for yew as a man and a duelist. I have in the past stood beside yew in battle -- while in the Team Dueling league -- I have supported yew in the duel of swords beyond the norm, even challenging those I called friends in th' name o' loyalty. I stood as yuir second during yuir early challenges and was filled with pride havin' been deemed worthy of such a position.
Durin' this time I hae nerra asked for anything of yew more than a bit of council regardin' duelists.
Yew know my heart Dalamar.Yew know it lies with the Duel of Swords and her peoples, hence the reason I broke from precidence and asked the one thing I di' of you. When I asked yew ta step down less than a month ago, in order to prevent a further rift in the DoS, yew refused on the grounds tha' you are nae a quitter. Now tha' yew hae seen the results o' yuir refusal, you canna help but see tha' I was correct in my prediction, yet still yew stand
firm.
This, sir, leaves me in a quandry.
I hae spoken aloud 'afore the council and the community, shoutin' my displeasure with their decision ta punish the warlord for yuir failure to appear.
Yew came to me durin' negotiations, speakin' o' yuir concern for the situation and how it seemed I was removin' my loyalty ta you. Yew told me then, yew werenae involved with the process and were stayin' clear o' the issue till the matter was settled. I think yew mayhae been a bit less than truthful on this fact and as easily as yew approached me, you wouldhae been able ta speak to those adamant about yew remainin' pristeen in the matter.
M'lord, as yew have refused wise counsel from me, and further refuse ta remove yourself from the position of Overlord, I have little choice but to seperate myself from the loyal Barons I opposed in the hearings, by realignin' myself ta renegade and further issuein' challenge ta thee for thy title. I do na' wish ta wear the crown, I merely wish for a change in the hierarchy of the DoS.
I await your response that we may tend ta this matter, post haste

As far as I read from Helix's letter of resignation, all challenges were on hold until DoS reopened. I guess this is in the hands of Clo and Golden, assistant supervisor and standings keeper respectively.
