To the Community.
It is hard to separate one's feelings from one's politics or one's sense of duty and honor. There are those of us who have done our best to remain calm and rational during this emotional storm... Sometimes our emotions get the better of us though.
What these arguements have almost always come down to is the weighing of Duty verses Honor.
If you remove friendship and emotion from the equation, you see two things. It is the OverLord's Duty to defend the Crown, and -everyone's- obligation to keep their Word of Honor. Then it becomes a simple matter of weighing Duty against Honor.
Or does it?
As I posted a short time back, the Law cares nothing for mitigating circumstances... that is the perview of Justice.
Justice, despite the old saying, is not blind... The Law is blind, Justice -must- have it's eyes open.
Myself, I remain Neutral in this... My only intent here is to inform, and hopefully clear away some of the mis-guided insults and mis-understanding that still seems to cling to this subject.
I thank you for your time.

Sidartha,
Ye were blind when ye defended Elijah. Ye were blind when ye defended me. Ye are blind now when ye defend Dalamar. I pray your blind defense carries to our children.

Brothers AJ and Seamus
With regards to your decisions to step out of the "flock" and into the real world, I commend you both.
This has been a long time coming in my mind, since the days when I TOO a Baron, did suffer the slight by one that I called friend and called to be loyal to to the end. The time when the "honorable" overlord didst find greater friendship and loyalty in a bottle and through the drunken stupor didst show his honorable intentions by supporting another at my challenge. Not just another but the one that did challenge me, and the one that at a point prior
had vowed to have all rings renegade. A plan was formed at that time but was put on hold for ye both were still alligned loyal and said plan would haf surely impacted the long friendship that still stands.
So saying and rambling as I have, I end with these thoughts......
Whatever service or aide I can give are yours.
There will soon be another ring to lay beside yours and another period when we three can stand together in the place of honor.
And finally, just as Dal came to me and attempted to make all right and requested that I aid him in his quest to dispell those that would stand against him , first through recruiting as many unknowns to drive the records of tham that stood against him into the ground and then to challenge and win a renegade ring to bring back to the loyalist party, all with his undying support and the guarantee that HE would remain loyal to ME for as long as he
reigned, so I vow to do the same for the cause against him.
Be ye forewarned! The QUIET ONE is returned and his mission is set
