Friends and Patrons of the Duel of Swords,
I hereby accept the challenge issued by Baron Seamus MacDonnaugh for the title of Overlord. The match shall take place on Wednesday the 18th of the month at 10 in the evening by the Eastern Reckoning of time. I have selected the honorable official Stormi to officiate the affair. Also, I would like to herein extend to you my offer of the Best of Three format for our challenge. In light of past arguments, I am aware I cannot enforce this format, so I
await your response to my suggestion.
As always, I shall duel under the silver and black of the Oldest House and wield Vengeance: The Blade Half in Shadow. My second for this affair will be my good friend, Baron Sartan. My Lady of Honor will be the beautiful Lady Sidartha Elgarette. Until then, Baron.

Mayhaps we should tie tha Over(bearing)Lord ta his caller so that we may be assured of his presence here. Or better mayhaps we should call up a spell tha' may prevent the death of any and all things on that day.

I am disappointed in your words. You imply that Dalamar will purposely attempt to not show up at the appointed time for this challenge match. Have you never once in your long life missed a single appointment? And if you have, why to you continue to berate the Overlord for missing one for a death in his family.
