Colleen

Thou statest: "Pointedly, the day she stops dragging up my personal relationship with the long absent Lord Altruis, as opposed to the specifics of why I don't support Dalamar as OverLord is the day I will lay off as my son, Will, would say. "

Tis yuir personal relationship wi' Draven be th' reason thou takest umbrage at Dalamar, neh?

In fact, lass, th' only time thou didst support Lord Dalamar wast when Seraph wast ta face 'im. Thou dost claim Seraph ast th' slayer 'o thine paramore, neh?

Pointedly,
Jona.

>Not only did he fail to show but he failed ta send word prior to tha match of
>his inability ta be there.

'tis kind a hard to predict a natural death..of this case, Dal's father. The subject has been beaten far beyond death..and besides that, if ya are involved in DoS, ya should, maybe not respect, but accept the Baron Council's decision be it just or not in yer eyes. No matter what decision shall or has ever arisen from the council, I'm sure, if not, positive that on every final decision always half of the populas is whinin'. It is their decision, and
it is final, and nothin' 'ill change that, so suck it up and get it a goin'.

>>A wise leader dinna reveal 'is strategies ta th' enemy aforehand, Madame, th' be th' crux 'o th' matter.<<

A wise leader also knows... that if he cuts the throats of his generals or stabs them in the back eventually those remaining turn to face him, and when they do, he or she will have to look all his or her trespasses upon them in their eyes. A wrong doing is in the eye of the beholder not the one that is accused. Someone that stands accused often doesn't see a wrong doing in their actions.

Cattle raiders, lass, are called reivers, just for note, and I'm not English. You forget, I raise horses, not cattle.

Oh and update your social calendar, Jaycy is still not married, ergo, madame doesn't apply.

Brows knitting together, Tele reads the continuing discussion of those whom she holds dear without thought or regard to feeling or concern. In a rare display of temper, Tele furiously scribbles out a response.

Gentles all;

I am not going to address the arguments addressed in the previous posts, but I am outraged that my nephew and my sister are set out for public display and discussed as if they were common gossip topics. Tristian is an innocent unable to address the problem himself. It is painful enough for Luthien to be deprived of her son, and then to have it publicly displayed for discussion is unacceptable. This is a family matter and discussion should be
contained within the walls of the family. What problems that lies between my sister, my former brother-in-law Gavelian, Lady Starfare, and Tristian should stay there. It is no one else's concern.

>>With which "god" hast though fornicated with tha would gif ya the powers of omnipotence, and ominscience ta slander another in such a way as ya haf done. Are ya of the deluded mind tha' ye are better than ana other, that yer life is more important than ana other, that yer grey matter, as soft as it seems ta be of late, is ana more witholding ta sanity an knowledge of right an wrong as ana other.
Ta attack ones standin' tha is nae een about ta defend herself?
For shame M'lady I thought tha' I knew ya better than tha? I do hope and pray to Lord Almighty tha ya dont think such things of those of us tha' haf holdings in the land tha' ya dwell in now.<<

Heath, I thank you for your words. For several years now the woman has slandered not only me, but nearly everyone that has been associated with me. Anyone who does not wish to kiss her behind is of "little wit an' less intelligence". I begin to wonder whether all this finger-pointing is to keep the attention away from her own faults, of which there are many. There is a saying about such a situation, but at the moment it escapes me.

As the Lady Nenshen would say: "Aye, 'tis thee hast the right 'o it." I'd be careful though, there are a great many who will attest to the fact that if even the slightest notion that you have crossed her passes her mind, you'll have a knife in your back, buried deeper than the Abyss itself. I know this from personal experience.

>>I endured slanders, slights, physical an magical attacks during me last pregnancy, praise be unto th' Lady, me daughter, Laenith wast nae injured in me womb. <<

A shield is hardly a magical attack. One would think your knowledge of magicks would tell you that.

Jeffery:
There are no hidden or boiling feelings of things past. That which occured whilst I was a Baron happened nearly a year ago an haf nothing ta do with ma feelings towards tha O-lord at present.
Tis his actions in the recent past and at present that ire me so. I hold no burning hatred for him nor was I angered at the loss of the ring for twas a better man that won it at the time, and I give all credit to Ulath fer his victory.
The actions of the overlord should be ably viewed by most if not all as honorable and I feel that they have NOT been so of late.

M'lady Jona:
Again I state that nothing of yer past is of concern to me and has never been so. My statement stemmed merely from viewing what I felt to be self-righteous slanders of others in the arena and in the land of Rhy-Din. Some of whom I call friend, most of whom I call friend to be more precise.
I do not call into question yer knowledge of the rings, of the HISTORY of the rings or yer place in them but merely stated that I felt, and noone can tell wether anothers FEELINGS are wrong lest they be able to control them, and that I feel the words, as precious as they are and powerfull as they are can or could be better aimed to SOLVE the conflicts raging in the arena instead of igniting them.

<<The actions of the overlord should be ably viewed by most if not all as honorable and I feel that they have NOT been so of late.>>

Honor is defined in each man's heart differently Heath. How can we hold Dalamar ta a moral standard dat will appease a million different definitions; none of which he could ever possibly know without takin' a grandiose poll. However, nothin' Dalamar has done even comes close ta disrespectin' a common definition of Honor. He payed respects ta his family (father) and everythin' else dat went on, happened so without his knowledge and choice. *I*
chose ta duel Huma, and da *council* chose Dal's punishments.

Yer blamin' da wrong man Heath. Period.

Jeff...
You write "*I* chose ta duel Huma, and da *council* chose Dal's punishments. Yer blamin' da wrong man Heath. Period."
So we should blame... you?
Just looking for clarification here.

Just looking for clarification here."

If all you are looking for is clarification from your self-proclaimed neutral stance, why not phrase your questions in the same manner? If you want to be snide, have at it, at least have the common sense to avoid hedging around it.

Colleen,

I hae nae 'o late scratched anna lawyers, bu' wh' thee know 'o battle an' strategy couldst be placed in a sporran. A wise leader dinna 'old close ta 'im those wh' wouldst betray their loyalties fer their own actions.

I dinna fergit thee raise 'orses, Madame, wh' wi' th' amount 'o manure thee shovels, tis certes thee learned th' skills in a stable yard.

Thou might wish ta update thine social calendar. Madame Ashleana isna married...now.
