Dalamar,
The agreement twas betwixt yerself and I. Yerself offered an end to the political rivalry between yerself and I. An honorable man, ye named yerself, as well ye had thoughts of myself, in to which the challenge twould bring an end to the rivalry, nae a matter as to whom twas the victor. I didst nae misinterpreted the "agreement" for yer answer to my part of the agreement, that ye twould nae interfere with the House Phoenix, twas an affirmative.
That tis unless ye have a selective memory, that tis failed to realize that ye spoke those words to myself, only a few moments after I agreed that the House Phoenix twould nae seek to challenge after hence our past Overlord Challenge.
As to the "agreement", that twas an agreement betwixt two honorable gentlemen, or so I didst think of ye at the time. To my knowledge, "contracts", are used by merchants or others of the middle class. If ye hold yerself among them, then I misunderstood from the beginning and twould have know nae to begin dealings with yerself.
What ye didst owe to the "honorable agreement" twas to keep yerself from any inference with the House Phoenix. As ye have certainly tossed yer honor aside to further yer goals, the "agreement" tis surely broken.
I do so believe ye are mistaken if ye dost think that I twould lower myself to slander on this medium of exchanging words. I merely presented yer letter to myself, as evidence, of yer unhonorable breaking of the agreement betwixt yerself and House Phoenix. If ye so consider the truth to be slander, then so be it. Ye may take the ideal as ye may. As to representing the letter in its original form. I twould nae wish for anyone to have a
thought that I twas fabricating any part of this situation.
Sincerely,
Daegarth Mithmellon~
Lord, House Phoenix
Broken Agreement, Honorless

I seem a bit confused here. You are both saying the other is lying, and I have no particular reason to believe either of you. If you want at least me to understand what is going on, you might want to stop your accusations of each other, and try to show the community exactly how the other has lied.
For Daegarth, this would be providing proof of the agreement (as well as how Dal has broken it, and lied about it), whether it be a witness, a signed contract, whatever. Should there be no proof, I can't say I believe you at all.
For Dalamar, the exact opposite would be true. Either show how you had right to break the agreement or show there was no agreeement.
Let me reiterate that due to both of your poor arguments, I really would not like to believe either of you. I, at least, would like to know what is going on here if you wish to post your discussions on this public board.

Walker...
I'm not certain either of them will explain what you wish... this is an emotional matter between the two men.
Having read the arguements, it seems to me that Daegarth is claiming that an arrangement was made stating that, after the match between the two of them for the Crown some time back, the loser of said match would never challenge the winner, nor extort another to challenge the winner.
I believe, though I may be reading into it, that Daegarth believed that the agreement also stated that the winner of said match would not interfere with the loser, nor speak out against the loser.
On Dalamar's side, I believe, thought again I may be reading into it, that Dalamar believed that the agreement was -only- to cover challenges to the Mantle... and, as the winner of said match, was the sole benificiary of the agreement... so, by his view, it is only in Daegarth's interest that the agreement be set aside, as it means that House Pheonix is no longer obligated to not challenge for the Mantle.
However, if there was more to the agreement, then it is possible that Dalamar saw Daegarth's wish to remove one of his most staunchly Loyal Barons as an interferance with his Reign.
For myself, it does not matter... I will keep myself neutral with regards to the politics and policies of the titles until such time as some new event occurs.
Please note... The opinions stated here are my own and should not be taken to indicate that I may have some special knowledge of this situation.
