Barons Council Convenes

Patrons of the Duel of Swords,
The following letter is being posted as written by me to the Baron's Council. After Baron Zen Rising failed to answer, or even receive, the challenge issued by Warlord Evan Faline withing the alotted week, the matter has been officially handed over to the Barons Council. I have encouraged the Barons to post their views and votes to the public, but please be reminded that they are by no means required to do so. In many places voting is a private
matter, and this privacy must be respected if people so desire.
Esteemed Barons,
As the current Overlord, I am officially the overseer of this discussion. First, I would like to see this discussion dealt with in a timely and orderly fashion. Secondly, I would like to thank Gnort for laying out the decision before us in such a clear and concise matter. I believe this issue is relatively cut and dry. There is little need for debate on this issue considering the few options present. I would like to lay out the voting in the
following manner.
1. Should Baron Zen Rising be stripped of his title immediately?
a) Yes
b) No
2. If Yes to question #1 then: How should Warlord Evan Faline's challenge be dealt with?
a) Award him the ring by forfeit.
b) Return his peer wins and right to challenge to him and leave the ring vacant.
c) Elect a member of the council to defend the ring. If this is your vote, please also include which member of the council you believe should defend the ring.
I will be posting a copy of this letter to the public message boards, and I encourage you to do the same (though you are by no means required to). Also, when casting your vote please be sure to include myself and Golden on the list; you need no include the other Barons if you wish your vote to be private. Again, I sincerely hope we can end this matter quickly, especially if the ring ends up being left vacant. I would hate to see a ring sit in limbo
for so long, seeing as how the Warlord Tournament is this week.
respectfully,

My vote (a copy of the letter sent to the council)
Simply,
Remove Zen of his title, and allow loyal Baron G to duel Evan Faline. Given the fact that G lost the duel to Errol Faline, Evan's brother, I think it would be an interesting flash from the past to see the G'nort vs. Faline.

Patrons of the Duel of Swords,
The following is a copy of a missive I have just sent to the members of the Barons Council.
Esteemed Barons,
The initial voting process is now officially closed. As the overseer of this council, I have received a majority vote on both of the matters at hand. The decision was as follows:
1) Should Baron Zen Rising be stripped of his title immediately?
a) Yes- 7 votes. A majority.
2) How should Warlord Evan Faline's challenge be dealt with?
c) A representative of the council shall defend the ring against him. If the Warlord win, he will get the ring. If the Council Representative wins, the ring will be left vacant.
Now we will move on to the next question for official vote.
3) Who shall be the representative of the council?
I know many of you have voiced your opinion on this matter already, but this is now the official vote. Please respond in a timely fashion so that we may conclude this discussion quickly. Again, I shall be posting this message to the public boards for the people of the community to see.
respectfully,

::shrugs reading the post and mutters to himself:: Oh they'll smack his wrist when he gets back and tell his challenger that he can't challenger Zen this cycle...::rolls his eyes and wanders away, disquisted::

Below are the missive sent in regard to the matter before the council
Gnort.
I did find the letter from Evermeadow tucked beneath the corner of my desk after I hastily blurted. My apologies to all and to Gim in particular, however I see this began before Golden sent his letter so I am not totally daft.
You will please excuse my temperment, tis not every day one finds one of his best friends head on pike in the arena
1) Strip the Baron
2) Appoint a representative from the council to duel in his stead
Assumed final vote
And just as we thought we would get through this without a snag
Okies,
I hereby volunteer to dispatch this challenger
I am available fom this moment to settle the matter in the interest of the council and the warlords tournament
