As per the decision of the Baron's Council and posted by the Overlord, Lord Dalamar Ar'Daumon:
Warlord Evan Faline will be allowed to proceed with his challenge. In place of Baron Zen Rising, the council has elected Baron G'nort Dragoon-Talanador to defend the ring against Warlord Evan Faline. If the warlord is successful, he will be presented with the Fourth Ring. If the baron is successful, the ring will be left vacant and made a prize at the next Warlord's Tournament.

On this day, December 3, 1998, I was honored to call for and witness the match between Warlord Evan Faline and Baron G'nort Dragoon-Talanador for the Fourth Baron's Ring of DoS.
Warlord Faline wore the color of the earth, Earthen Brown. He was without a Second or Lady of Honor, so requested such from those gathered. Lord Carl Corwin Carson Cain Castillian stood up to be his second and was accepted by the Warlord, and Silphion Mana Shintiyo offered to be Warlord Faline's Lady of Honor, and was accepted as such.
Baron Dragoon-Talanador stood alone.
The well-fought match proceeded as follows:
Round 1 Ring of Honor - It's a grand opening move, as Gnort shows off his fanciest sidestep, dashing about the ring like a dancer...and Evan whacks him with a high cut, maybe he likes disco better...1-0 Evan in Round 1.
Round 2 Ring of Honor! Ssss........smack! The blades clash in a spectactular show of sparks and sound....dual low cuts they are. Score remains 1-0 Evan's favor in 2.
Round 3 - Ring of Honor - Evan wants to show his fancy dancing, and does so, doing some sort of Earth 1970's thing...but Gnort doesn't like that either so cuts him high, returning the favor of round 1. 1 all Round 3.
Round 4 Ring of Honor- then men show their fan-tastic fancy fanning circ parries at the same exact moment. Neither gains anything from it except a cool breeze. 1 all Round 4.
Round 5 Ring of Honor - G cuts high! Evan cuts low! G...watch the hair! Both score. 2 all Round 5!
Round 6 - Ring of Honor - It's a waltz! G and Evan fancy waltz each other around the ring, both performing fancy sidesteps. No score. 2 all round 6.
Round 7 Ring of Honor - Evan thrusts! That is something that has got to be extremely painful .... or would be, if G hadn't fancy circ parried it out of the way. Point to G, 3-2 in round 7,
Round 8 Ring of Honor - Dual cuts, dual pain, lots of blood! G goes high, Evan goes low. 4-3 Round 8, Gnort in the lead.
Round 9 Ring of Honor - Evan's ready for the oncoming attack with a stop hit, but G decides to fancily step out of the way instead. No points either way. Score remains 4-3 Round 9, Gnort in the lead.
Round 10 Ring of Honor - Gnort inches ahead with an advantage as his circ parry sends Evan's low cut astray. 4.5 -3 Round 10, G in the lead.
Round 11 Ring of Honor - Evan's last effort is a mighty thrust, diving towards Gnort he goes to be met with Gnort's winning stop hit!
FINAL GnrtDrgoon def. EvanFaIine, 5.5-3 in 11 rounds
Thus the Fourth Baron's Ring becomes a Prize in the upcoming Warlord's Tournament.
