Silphion Mana Shintiyo

Fellow Deulers,

Those of you who choose to exploit the posts that Agrenish has made and debate about it's honorability are prime, golden examples of children who have very little literal sence. That is what you show. You may be smarter than that, and I'm sure many of you are. But sadly, for this current situation, the E.Q. is considerably less than the I.Q.

Those of you that choose to slander and ridicule Agrenish for his words, calling Var dishonorable, for example. Are prime example of people who are blindly prejudice. Again, the E.Q. is not meeting the potential I.Q. In my opinion, that is. Those of you, who retort against those who are insulting, you're only becoming part of an intricate, delicate, and very quickly spreading web of mudslinging, also known as negative politics.

I have read the post, and I admit, my first few thoughts were, "what an idiot." But I quickly put that aside when I rembered WHO we are talking about. Not WHAT. Angrenish is a notable fighter, as is Var. Their relationships and inner workings are almost impossible for us to understand. There may be reasons for this challange that we cannot percieve. However, those of you who pointed out Angrenish was less than tact here are correct. But
then again, who's perfect?

I will express no direct opinion towards anyone here. I just want you to consider on thinking before saying. We will give the new ones benefit of the doubt here. As one expressed earlier, they are new, therefor percieved as "young" here in the Dueling Arenas. The Former-Baron and the Baron are taking this in a formal matter. To turn the formal matter into a debate of mudslinging not only makes the boards more filthy, but the honor of the
people involved and that of the Arena. I just want all of you to be more educated and thoughtful on these matters and those similar. Thank you.

M'Lady Sil!
In my humble opinion, ye hath hit the proverbial nail squarely on the head! Tis a well-written piece...

Pound him, Agrenish, and show them all the worth of excessive talk.

Oh, come on guys, you can't be serious. Neither of them are sparkling icons of honor. At least Agrenish comes out into the open to be rude.

Neither of them are worth getting angry over.

::A note appears on the board as if of it's own accord... no hand setting it there, no support visible, yet it stays.::

Aye Sid...

After waiting for nearly a month with nothing but silence from one I called a good and true friend; I fear I must agree with you.

And Var...

I'm still waiting for your reasons for your betrayal of our friendship, all politics aside.

::A rather large, white dog, with crystal blue eyes carries a note in her mouth over to the boards. She then somehow manages to tack it up.::

Sid,

A little over a month ago, you would have been defending Var over this...Seems to me once someone's alignment changes to Renegade, you seem to talk ill of them...just a thought.

Yes, all of our personal feelings and opinions hinge solely upon who is loyal and who is not loyal to the Overlord.

If only it were that simple, neh?

Okay, I figure I will say what I think, since everyone else is. Just because you all expect it from me by now anyway. I would hate to throw you all for a loop at the moment. That can be done later with more finesse.
First, the subject of Agrenish. I think he is a good example to newer duelists of how not to act. This makes him valuable, barely. We need the occasional negative role model. He seems to have a problem backing his words up sometimes, or has when I have encountered him, anyway. All in all he is a competent duelist, but he really isn't Baron material.
Second, the subject of Var. As far as personal behavior goes, face to face, he has for the most part conducted himself well on most occasions. He and I have had our problems, mostly over the boards here. He hasn't always been as bright as he could have been, and he has let his emotions cloud his reason on numerous circumstances. But, at bottom, he has a good man. He has faults, of course. In the matter of changing his alignment, he showed a lot
of passion and little real thought. Likewise when he left HDT. But he has been a worthy Baron, all in all.
This said, good luck to Var. I won't be dishonest or hypocritical by wishing Agrenish luck. I do hope he duels well though, just not well enough.
