It was just an ordinary night for Cletus. He went to the Arena since he hadn't dueling in a week. He fought like he would normally fight, but it was during his match with Jake that something wasn't right. The medallion around his neck, the one he believe his mother to have worn, was acting strange. It was heating up, glowing, and throbbing. He paid no attention to it.
After his match with Jake, he went back to sit at his table. Once again, the heat of the medallion pained him, and this time, he took it off. A moment later, in a bright flash of light, Cletus dissapeared. The medallion he had in his hand, was the only trace that he had ever been there. It dropped down to the seat he was at. After a minute, its glowing stopped and it cooled down, but Cletus was nowhere in sight. Arane then picked it up,
and figuring that Cletus just left it, set off for home.

15 hours later...
In the same bright light that Cletus had vanished in, he re-appeared in. He appeared in the same seat he had vacated that previous night. He looked around the Arena, very confused. To him, the Arena had simply empited. To him, no time had passed since he mysteriously vanished. He sat there, for the longest time, just staring straight ahead, going through his mind what could have happened to everyone.
After a short conversation with Strallen, Cletus somewhat gathered what had happened to him, and just thinking about it gave him a headache. He quickly gathered what little was left of his sane mind, and ran home, to think about what had happened there.
