Used to be I was called Jola Feren, then I married Dark Axe and took on Ulath's name. Back then, I dueled with the likes of Dareltan, Dorellian, NickovTyme, Bishop and many others.

Of course, my most memorable duel, to me, was the one in which I dueled Ulath and the loser had to do whatever the winner asked...that was when he asked me to marry him.

Stephen, Alkron, Amaltea, Suzielle, Xenograg, MydnyteBlu, Mydknight, Luthien, Gavilean, Raven, Jeremy Kane, and so many others were the soul of DoS way back then. I certainly do miss them all. Please don't feel offended if I haven't mentioned anyone reading this.

And to the ones who are still around...I'm back!

Lets see...

I first came into the DoS, dragged here by one Ellisa Morgan. After day one, I was hooked. First duel was against then Baron Raiyko. I lost, then I dueled Merewyne, Sau Bau and a commoner named Darien. I lost those first three, but won the last. I never left the arena since.

Great memories. Meeting a ton of people in here, Cat, Eldy, Eldar, Ally, Tass, Teri, Luc, geez, the names could go on and on.. I remember always grumbling about my record and having that group of friends cheering me on and passing out "Go Gnortie" T-Shirts™ then, I always gave out help when I could to my friends, never thinking I'd advance too far. Those are the good days for me.
Then I started bringing my now wife in, Prin, she would watch me duel and both of us would look forward to seeing Phlag calling, I liked Phlag, thought he was a pretty cool guy. I'd always seen the older regulars as an "A" class, something I'd never be a part of, personally, people like Kal, Luth, Iain, Ecore, Lupt, Ath, Alais, Xeno and the like..heck, I never thought I'd gte more than a greeting, but here I have hung out and spoke with some at length on some subject, so those are good memories to me.
In the rings I have a few good memories as well. Beating Elijah and Lupton for the first time when I thought I'd never be able to was great to me. Winning roses from Luth when being called by her is an absolute goal for me each week. Finally getting my 15th WoL was great, Helix called that match and made specific mention, which I thought was really cool. Each time I faced an "Old School" dueler or Former Overlord and won made me feel very good. Challenging for my first Barons ring and winning was a
great memory as well.

But the memory I like the best.. Me and Prin were sitting in the arena, I hopped off the bar and was walking around aimlessly, Luth and Golden were calling, and I looked to her and Proposed. Prin accepted and made me very happy. That's my favorite moment.
