To the respective titles,
With the peer wins validated, I hereby officially accept the challenge issued by Drakewyn Alabaster Silvertree.
The match itself shall be Tuesday, the 26th of this month, at 11:00 Eastern Rhydin Time, in the Annex. This is, of course, after the challenge between G'nort and Galin. I have chosen the official to be Stormcrow.
My second shall be my first son, Noble Morgan Medici-Giovanni. I shall duel for the honor of my wonderful wife, my Lady Noelle Medici-Giovanni. My colors will be metallic silver blades clashing over the ocean blue.
With this noted, I would like to thank both Drakewyn and Stormcrow for their swift input regarding what times work, for it helped things go a lot smoother. Following the challenge, win or lose, I shall give Drakewyn the explanation she sought after.

As it was partially due to my suggestion as to Drake's change in callers, I'll explain to you why I feel Stormcrow is so unfit.
1) He calls his rounds when his duelists do not even move.
2) He knows not which moves score against which.
3) His continous errors in his officiating can and have ruined the tempo of many matches.
4) He doesn't know what he's doing.
I am sure I'll hav a bunch of people yelling at me about this, for saying how bad a caller is, but Stormcrow is unworthy to be a caller in the Duel of Swords until he learns correctly how to do his job. He has caused alot of anguish to many duelers, myself included, in numerous duels, myself included. He has no business calling during normal hours, let alone something as important as a Challenge Match.

I made my statements in a private missive to avoid such garbage being strewn across the boards.
You yourself have often said that there are too many rude comments posted to this board, and now you place these words here.
If I were "grandstanding" as you say, perhaps I would have posted my notice to the public rather than trying to keep it a private matter... it seems that you are the one who is "grandstanding" here.
I offered Golden the chance to back out, should he be unavailable. I did -not- "impose a backup caller."
As I clearly stated in my letter, and repost here for the public, "After careful consideration, discussion with my second, and review of various traditions...
I wish, at this time, to excersize my right to select a caller of my own choice.
By the older traditions, it is the challenger's right to select a caller... only since Dalamar's taking of the crown has this practice fallen into dis-use.
I realize this is short notice, but it has taken much deliberation on my part.
I do not wish to give insult to Lord Stormcrow, but I feel he lacks the experience and the personal connection to the Dueling Community that is required for an event of this magnitude."
I sent my missive to you Sunday night, and I know for a fact that you were in the Realm shortly after the message was sent... so it is not my fault that you did not read the message, nor respond in a timely manner.

Stormcrow's a nice person, G. I would like for him to be allowed to officiate a challenge match.
Either way, there's a tremendous appreciation I have for the officials who take the time to officiate matches, regular and challenges alike. They are taking the time to do something other people can do, but whom choose not to.
You don't like Stormcrow's calling? I don't like fire. Whenever I hold an important parchment over it, the paper burns. That causes me so much anguish. What do I do? I don't hold paper near a fire.
If I were to post an insult to someone, then got a response that is expected (a retort), then I can imagine a response should I complain that the person's words were harsh and they're not allowed to post them. I'd get a response saying, "Don't set yourself up if you don't like what's coming to get you".

It's funny, that I recall how you posted your peer wins publicly to honor all the officials then wrote privately that you think (at least) one of which is unfit. Sounds like a ploy for cheers from my point of view.

By saying your second choice is Dillon, should Golden not be available, you did. You were under the assumption I could not refuse your caller (I assumed you wouldn't have refused my suggested caller since you "honored" all of them).
Either way, I can take the garbage "strewn across the boards". If you want to try to avoid garbage thrown at you, then you'll recieve a rude awakening when you possess a baronial or overlord title.

First off, I doubt da "Kid" will ever read any of da missives posted here. Heck if ya gave him a DoS quiz I'd wonder if he'd score 50%, so don't worry about insultin' him.

Only the best callers should be calling challenge and tourney duels. We put our trust in their hands many times, pardon us for not wanting that trust abused more times than not.
