>>I am sure your past is squeaky clean, my friend. So I understand why noone would dare to bring up anything about your past. But is it necessary for you to constantly berate others?<<

Ah, Gnort, darlin'...Madame Nenshen's past is far from squeaky clean. Ask Luthien.

Noelle,

You are a true gem and I admire you.

I mean that sincerely.

Jola,

Grow up lest we think you one of those children you are trying so hard to discriminate against.

Not having your respect is truly a relief for I never for the rest of my days wish to have the respect of someone who feels justified in excluding patrons based on petty prejudices.

Okay. I can see this has turned out into an all out bashing of Jonalyn. Go ahead, bash her as you will. Call her a liar, bring up her past, do whatever, I don't give a damn.

But don't bring Luthien into this. Please. She's far too busy to comment on anything on these boards and shouldn't even be used as a reference at this point.

And I don't see where you get off saying Jonalyn doesn't contribute to the DoS. It is safe to say that she contributes more than half of the Warlord population. And I guarantee she has contrinuted more than half the people of this thread.

Just because she doesn't duel often (she does duel, if you haven't noticed) doesn't mean she is helpless in that regard. She has offered her vast knowledge of the past for personal inquiry of others, such as when I wished to know more about the elders of the sport or when the DoF histories where being compiled. She's also done many much more in that line.

I'm not defending Jona for her 'insults', but I'm not gonna sit around by select members of this community, which I will not name due to the fact that my back hurts enough, sit up there and play high and mighty for the rest of us.

Gnort

Quite simple, I shall nae support one who didst hae 'er servant ta cheat to gain 'er 'er ring. If thee choose to do so, tis fione. Yet tis Unagi sama's challenge wast denied for the verra same thing wha' Madame Ashleana wast permitted. Tis a bane she be and shall e'er wear 'er ring in deceit. Tis the responsibility of anna warlord to know the proper way to present challenge, and nae withstanding thine friendship, for I do honor thee an hae known
thee since thee first didst visit these ancient halls, I shall nae condone such perfidy, deceit and deception. Tis a blight 'pon the ring, these ancient halls and every true and honest dueler who e'er sought rank to title.

Bluntly
Jonalyn Nenshen Starfare.

::chuckles... mumbles-::

Seems like Jola's ideas and practices of respect stopped growing around the schoolyard age.. but who am I to impose my thoughts.. ::shrugs and walks off, not having a pen anyway::

::raises an eyebrow and shrugs::

Why wait for something I already know?
