Willo

Thee aire new come unto the basement, tis nae such thing ast a "friendly duel" when two men be going at it wi' blade for the crown. If thee aire looking for a friendly pasttime, mayhap thee shouldst consider picking daisies in the fields outside the Red Dragon Inn.

Gee, these boards become more and more fun everyday, don't they?

I'd give my two cents ......
::reaches into his pocket only to find nothing::

....but I be out of money at the time. So very simply, duel well ye two. Marzan, I hope you win.

::reads through the mess of posts and then prudently chooses to avoid this one like the black death::

::heads to the next small stack, slightly amused, and somehow nauseous at the same time. A disturbingly confusing set of emotions in one dose to be sure.::

::slightly hopes that the nausea isn't an incipent symptom of the black death::

::reads on through the other posts, occasionally wincing as a gastric cramp hits him::

Damn me....now look what they've done

::groans and runs for the bathroom::

::Hubie and Marcus, sitting in the kitchen are startled out of their near naps from the thunderous noise coming from the Arena bathrooms, and then stop, hearing the elephant like reports and megalithic groaning, they wink at each other and laugh, their plan to stop the bickering in the arena with a contact laxitive on volatile posts in motion::

Baron Daelin Dragonsblade

Tis I do hope thine title hast nae gone to thine head so quickly that thee feel thee canst instruct those of the community to keep their comments, opinions and statements to themselves?

Jona.

The commoner strides away from the cork.

Marcus giggles, scrawling a note beneath.

Mister Dragonsblade

The bar tab came to four hundred thirty gold crowns, plus tip.

Marcus.

Al and Hubie snicker.

M'lady Jonalyn,

One woul wish to notate that overweening pride and lack of title has not kept yourself from such lofty instruction. If you feel no need to gain title within this sport that is well and good, but do not disparage those that have given their sweat and blood to attain such things their right to speak as they see fit. Even if such speakings are *Be quiet.*
One would hope to assume that your millenia of sitting at the bar and soaking up brandy and gaining noble title through deciet hasn't gone to thy head so quickly as to make you think you can instructed anyone in how they state their, thoughts, comments and opinions to the public.

Laughs herself into a case of hiccups reading the self proclaimed Dragon Lord of Rhydin's usual hilarious drivel. Regaining her composure, she tucks away the private missive from the new Baron, snags the quill, pens a note tacking it to the cork.

Uzie Poo,

If yuir looking fer wish fulfillment, mayhap ye canst seek out a lamp. Tis certes Daelin hast nae anna difficulty speakin' fer 'imself. Tis th' basement always be in need 'o comedy relief, laddie buck. Thee fill th' bill quite pertly.

Cletus walks by the boards and reads the acceptance put up by Dalamar, and a questions arouses in his mind. He quickly puts his pen to paper.

To anyone who can answer,

Are Seamus and Cristian also having their match on the same night and if so, what time would that match be taking place?

Jonalyn Starfare, I am new, yes. With all due respect, just because I'm new, doesn't mean I don't know anything. Yes, admitedly there are newcomers that are rude, and perhaps don't have the hang of this. *If* you are implying that there cannot be a friendly challenge match, then I find you truely wrong. I know of a few matches where the baron has personally asked for a challenge; so he could get defenses under his or
her belt. It wasn't over a dispute, or differences in thought; it was about a friendly match in which the baron may get a defense, or the warlord may achieve baron. I would refer to a few of the matches, but they aren't signifigant. What is, is the fact that there CAN be friendly matches, but not OFTEN.
Signed,

-Willo

::walks up to the boards, and smiles:: If it were roses, I'd happily pick them for someone dear to me. But unfortunately, I'm here to ask a rather rude question. What do you have against all new people? I always see you critiqueing them, and never actually taking time to understand them. You can't expect someone to come here and get the thwang of things in a flash of light.
From the quill of,
