Tenth Ring Challenge Results

On the eve of Tuesday, January 26th, 1999, the match for possession of the Tenth Baron's Ring of the Duel of Swords was held. Warlord Drakewyn Silvertree challenged Renegade Baron Var Medici-Giovanni for the right to wear the coveted ring.

Lady Drakewyn Anastasia Alabaster Silvertree was seconded by G'nort Dragoon Talanador. Also standing in her corner was her daughter, Delilah Alabaster. The color on her banner was jade green, and she dueled under the crest of the Jade Gryphons. Her weapon used was an emerald bladed sword given to her by Marcus Shaw. She also used a gauntlet in addition to the sword.

Baron Var Medici-Giovanni was seconded by his son, Noble Morgan Medici-Giovanni. His Lady of Honor was his wife, Lady Noelle Medici Giovanni. The Baron dueled under the colors metallic silver and ocean blue.

The match was officiated by Goldendust Evermeadow. Results are as follows:

Thus, Drakewyn Silvertree was successful in her challenge to Baron Var Medici-Giovanni, winning by a final score of 5 - 4 after 11 rounds. Following the match, the new Baroness declared her alignment as Neutral to Overlord Dalamar Ar'Daumon.
