Greetings Patrons of the Duel of Swords:

I write this notice concerning one of my patients, Jaem Triver. It has been three days since he stumbled on to my doorstep in a nearby village (Syst, to be precise). As soon as he entered my home, he fell unconscious, and remained in that state for approximately 24 hours. Close examination revealed that he had suffered many surface injuries from both edged and blunt weapons. In addition, he was suffering from exhaustion. Due to good
constitution, possibly due to his ranger training, he has recovered almost fully from his injuries. He will likely be released very soon from my treatment.

Dear fellow patrons of DoS,

As at many of you have likely noticed, I have been absent for the past week. As walking to my cottage by the edge of town, I was ambushed by a gang of bandits, in the employ of a mob boss whom I had had a run-in with previously. Generally unarmed and outnumbered, I was beaten senseless, bound at the hands, and forced to march many days to his city. Many of these days are hazy in my memory.
At that point, I was brought before the boss. For reasons unknown to me, he did not kill me, but ordered that I be brought to a site in the mountains to be killed and disposed of. Running on energy from a source that I didn't know I had, I somehow overpowered my guards, and ran off. It was a few days ago that I stumbled onto the house of a doctor, where I was treated for my inflicted injuries. I can't really tell all the details about what
happened, as of this time.
Previously to this, I had secretly arranged with Nathan Reebals that Jake Heartman take over my captaining duties for the Disengaged Dueling Club (TDL) in case of such a circumstance. Jake will continue to captain for a few more days, until I have recuperated fully.

Get well Jaem, even though ye nae be readin' dis, ah 'ope ye messenger takes it back, if the person is able to. Also, ..don't know if ye know me..ahm Coron, anna if ye e'r need a healer in da town of Rhydin from enduring injury, just give me a shout.
