Sir,
The truth is I would love to know our history. But all I get from most warlords and ever have got from them is lip and attitude, and then I hear of this very old very wize warlord from the new overlord Marzan. He asked the warlords to help the lower ranks learn their histories. For the man who does not know his past is doomed to repeat it. So I ask or rather beg you to teach me, I don't ask you to agree with me, even I am finding many of my
reasons questionable but I made them and will follow them to the end. I would understand if you refuse but then I would be forced to ask Percy ,G'nort or Lupton and really don't wanna do that. I swallow my pride and ask you to teach what you know to the one Warlord who needs to know.

Just one quick side note for you.
While I'm invaribly impressed by the sudden onset of thirst for knowledge.
I merely wish to inform you that Occurs, or Occurs Summer Oakenshield....whom you seem to be referring to here....is not a sir.
If she was...I am sure that Baron Jeff would be highly unamused.
And I will go further to offer my knowledge of these rings, however limited...should you take the time to ask for it in a quasi respectful fashion, as I am sure anyone here would given this kind of approach versus the usual.

It is up to you to show your motivation to learn, and approach the more experienced and knowledgeable members of the community with questions, concerns, or anything else that you may discuss. My door, as it were, is always open, if you do but knock.

Yes, for one point of view of the events, Jona is "the" person to go to... but there are usually two sides of a story.
People can be biased in how they relate history.

There is that.
I'm more than willing to admit that Jonalyn is a fine source of historical information.
But try to keep your mind open about what she tells you...she has a violent tendancy to skew things to her point of view depending on what and who the story is about.

Perhaps your counseling sessions with your therapist are bringing up some long supressed self-realizations, but, please, try not to project your own dysfunctional reactions onto other people.
