Well, the baroness Ms. Fay has suggested a time and date, although she has yet to confirm anything, I do believe I shall remove her from her station this coming sunday and 4 pm eastern. Where the match will take place and who shall preside over the match, I have no clue. Ms. Fay must think it not important to inform the person who challenged her of such things. Anyway, bring a lunch, otta be an intresting afternoon.

I'm just curious as to who is under the protection of this ring. I can figure out who most are, as I know there is a clique of the older people who were very close friends, but I want to know who outside that clique has earned protection.

When Lady Quilyn expressed her thoughts these past days, I refrained from a self-aggrandizing response explaining that many of we "old coots" not only give those new to the community a "chance," but often actively seek them out; apparently, if one such as yourself is capable of making the
mistaken assumption that my perceptions of worth are based on longevity, that was a mistake on my part.
The offensiveness of your insinuation aside, Baron Stonecutter, it should occur to you that even a Baron under the Amethyst Ring's "protection" can be "safely" challenged, assuming the challenger is worthy; likewise, even a Baron the Amethyst Ring seeks to depose may find themselves the beneficiary of the Ring's support if challenged by a greater menace to the community.
Were you to be challenged by a drooling imbecile, rest assured you would have our support; conversely, were you to be challenged by one whose honor and integrity were unassailable, that support may very well go to your opponent. Life, good Baron, is not black and white.
