Condition of Daelin Dragonsblade

Dear Patrons of the Duel of Swords,

To those it may concern, I am Gennon Dragonsblade. Brother of Daelin Dragonsblade. As some of you may knw, my brother sustained injuries in the ring during his bout in the ring with a friend of his, Var Medici-Giovanni. It appears the Ward of Gondar failed to protect my brother as it usually had done. I was able to respond rather quickly, having had a forwarning with my position as a Dragonian Gaurdian. I shall attempt to explain why the Ward failed
my brother.
My brother is the Dragonian Holy Swordsman, handpicked by the Ancients
to protect the Chosen with his blade and life. As time draws on, the Dragonian Holy Swordsman is infused with more powers from our ancestors, the Dragon race. Most of you did not know this so you could not have possibly forseen this and Dae asked me personally to assure everyone that it was not their fault, especially Var. Anyway, the Kaiser Dragon that appeared after Dae flew from the ring and the Ward failed him was trying to infuse Daelin with a
rejuvenating power. This intertwined with the Ward and overloaded both protections on him at about the same time Var's first attack landed..which explains my brothers injuries. The Kaiser Dragon then brought Dae to me and with my magicks I was able to easily restore him to health..combined with the fact that Dae was conscious by the time he reached me. My brothers most awesome powers are being awakened, but this will not affect the friendship he has
with you all or his attitude towards you..and he asked me to pass on word that he is in fact better and will be able to met Adonai Uziel in the challenge ring tommorow. If anyone wants to send him a letter or something send it to his home, the Castle Daelin. I shall take my leave from Rhydin tonight and thus I cannot pass it on. ((OOC Note: Mail to IXDaelinXI)). Daelin,
I am glad to read you are alive and well.
While you are indeed okay, it still should not, and will not, prevent me from saying I'm sorry. I truly did not mean to inflict any harm, and I hope you realize that.
Again, I apologize for any pain you went through.
