A renegade Baron doesn't need any bonafides, do they, Jona? But still, it has to go to the Standings Keeper. All Challenges have to go to the Standings Keeper. And as such, that makes the Standings Keeper the one who makes the initial decision.

Apparently Master Evermeadow agrees with the current Standings Keeper.

While I was, and still am as I don't have the particulars, unaware of the incident between Billy Ray and Topaz, I have heard about what happened between Eros, Topaz, Billy Ray and Adonai. I still think that Eros and Adonai were both too quick to jump. I still think that the situation would have been better served if they had talked like reasonable adults, and had offered apology one to another. Honor is a grand thing, Jona.... It truly is....
And I wouldn't ask that any man or woman allow someone to strike at what they hold dear without doing or waying something. But Honor is truly honorless when it's used as an excuse to do any old thing you want by stating *It's for Honor's sake*.
I still see children on the play yard...... "Nha - Nha... I don't want to play with you. I'll take the ball and go home... so there." Seems to me they both suffer, and no one really wins.

Well folks, I find this post as usual as they come...I petty little matter blown completely out of preportion by your friend and mine, politics. Okay...Here's the case so far.
We've got a little matter where Billy does a bit of wrapping on his friends like usual...Adonai finds it funny and laughs, Eros gets insulted by laughter and declares Adonai to be renagade, who tries to go renagade on his own first, but fails. Now, consequently, this happens right after Eric wins the shot to the overlord, but Adonai wants his right to challenge now. Here's where a conflict takes place since the tournament winner is supposed to be
uninturupted in his challenge, but Adonai wants Eros right now as well. (This would make a good story) ::He chuckles slightly, continueing:: Now, there's a simple way to solve this...Eros and Eric fight...If Eros wins, no problem, then Adonai goes through...But if Eros loses, then Adonai can still challenge him...he just won't be challenging for the Overlord, He'll be challenging for warlord. If that's all Adonai is after, there's no problem...

Tarrasque:

The legendary tarrasque, for there is fortunately only one known to exist, is the most dreaded monster native to the Prime Material Plane. The creature is a scaly biped with two horns on its head, a lashing tail and a reflective carapace.
The tarrasque is a killing machine and when active eats everything for miles around, including all animals and vegetation.
It is fortunate that the tarrasque is active only for short periods of time. Typically the monster comes forth to forage for a week or two, ravaging the countryside for miles around. The tarrasque then seeks a hidden lair underground and lies dormant for anywhere from 5-20 months before coming forth again.
Once every decade or so, the monster is particularly active, staying awake for several months. Thereafter its period of dormancy is anywhere from 4-12 years unless disturbed. The ratio of active to dormant states seems to be about 1:30
Slaying of the tarrasque is said to be near impossible, it is said that after the monster is substantially well into death, a wish spell must be used. Otherwise, the slightest piece of the tarrasque can regenerate and restore the monster completely. Legend has it that great treasure can be extracted from the tarrasque's carapace.

I've noticed that Topaz hasn't posted a single thing on the board concerning the matter. Seems that she's the only one handling the situation properly by keeping this a private matter, since it was *she* that was insulted.

Find someone else to insult and harrass, because I don't care.
I have done an excellent job, and been complimented on the speed at which I handle all problems... both by the staff and by the patrons.
There's a saying that says, "You can't please all the people, all of the time." But, since I'm pleasing most of the people, I'm doing my job right.
You strike me as the kind of person who cannot be pleased, and will actively look for things to complain about, even when there aren't any... so I'm not going to try, and I'm going to recomend to everyone who reads this that they don't either.
It's amazing how many people around here rely upon insults. I'm glad now that Lady Drake has arranged for my return home. At least there, there's a veneer of civility in everyday conversation.

On the other side of the opinions,

I believe it is part of Miss Jansens job to make sure that the patrons are pleased with her work. I have been quite pleased, and therefore I have no objections to her at all.

Admittedly, I am but one Opinion of this, much as Jona is, who believe the opposite. And, judging by the amount of missives and opinions given, It can be assumed that I am in the majority of this opinion, given that I have only seen two people every show any displeasure with Miss Jansens superb officiating and keeping of the Standings.

Of course, if anyone wishes to correct me, I am sure a satisfactory poll could be given to see the view of the Patrons opinions.

I think the Standings Keeper is doing a fine job, like all the ones before her, since the first one, named, RDI Marv. And yes I did know him and was dueling when he was a Standings Keeper, so I think I would know who does a good or bad job.
