I write this as an explanation for my actions. I hae accepted Methous back into me classes, and such is life. All, whomever, deserve a second chance, especially in these rings. Any who would attack or condemn me fer this, I ask ye ta examine yer honor, then get back ta me on it.

To the Elven Ranger Shadow, esteemed Instructor and extraordinary Friend...

I have read thy letter posted on this board concerning thine acceptance of Tim (Methous) back into yer class, and I must admit to some confusion. The reason for my confusion is that I cannot imagine any of the patrons of the Duel of Swords being critical of ye for re-admitting Tim to yer class.
I know there be many who speak harshly of Tim, and I know that some have wished for him to leave the Arena permanently. And I agree that his manner is, to put it mildly, somewhat abrasive at times. However, I rank myself amongst those who believe that one should never give up hope that a person can change for the better, and I am glad to see that, in thine actions, thine hast shewn thyself to also have that view.
Having been one o' those folks who hast had the honor and pleasure of attending your classes, I know as perhaps others do not, that ye teach not just the form of dueling, but that there are lessons on etiquette, honorable intent, and respect as well. Perhaps those that ye anticipate in yer post as wishing to "attack or condemn" ye are not aware of this aspect of thine instruction.
If Tim wishes to learn these traits, I for one could not think of a better place than the Clermont Academy, nor a better instructor than thee, good sir. And if in truth Tim does nae wish ta learn but only to give the appearance of such... well, that will come out in the wash! And I have no doubt that ye wouldst deal with that as ye hath in the past.
Shadow, I should hope that all who patronize the Duel of Swords realize that "school" is a place to learn, and I should hope that all wouldst be supportive of anyone who wishes to learn and wishes to correct their past mistakes and better themself. I should be glad to assist ye in whatever way ye deem appropriate in this matter.
