Ya' GOTTA be kiddin' me!

I was readin' the boards and found some interestin' "stuff".....This crap is basically what makes duelin' worth the extra bottle of Yukon.

Walker writes:
<<If law enforcement agents are only able to pin crimes on one suspect, they'll do it. The public won't complain that one is being picked on, unless the man is truly not guilty.>>

This is called being a "wuss". When someone has to look for what they consider an
"easier" target, that's a sign of weakness. The Overboy can't do a thing to me, in or out of the ring, but he could give Uz a hard time by punishing him for my "mistake." It's your basic, average Pansey-arsed, political menuever.

Ian Writes:
<<The Overlord expressed indignance, but never did request satisfaction from William. However, among the MANY members of the audience who had laughed at insults which - regardless of the target - were humourous, the Overlord did select the ONE he could actually discomfit... that being.
the Baron Adonai Uziel.>>

This is too true....outside of a few weakly veiled threats, the OB didn't do squat.
Hell, if someone insulted my wife, I'd at least focus on them instead of a ringside snickerer. This is what's known as the old yellow-streak play.

Drake writes:
<<Glances to Gnim and Cyggy, her team-mates and shakes her head. "Yeah, yeah... it's all funny 'til someone gets an eye poked out."
"We've got too much bluster and not enough strait talk around here... People need to do less insulting and more conversing.">>

Listen lady, I ain't never done nuthin' BUT straight talk ta' all of ya'. Sure...I insult everyone and their mother but ya' ain't never heard a false promise or threat come outa' my cake hole. If I tell ya' I'm gonna do it...it's prolly already done sister. It's more along the lines of you so-called "honorable" folk where the lines between honesty and common sense get blurred all ta' hell. At least the cocksure braggart knows how ta' keep a
promise...no matter how much it hurts ya'. THIS is what bein' blonde is all about.

Huma writes:
<>

If that ain't the stupidest damn phrase I've heard since Zaradda preached his doctrine, I don't know what is. Ya' ain't never been worth squat as a role model in the DoS Huma. Ya' shown time and again that when yer skill with the blade ain't been enough ta' win back yer ring, yer ability with yer mouth ain't worked any better. I can't remember a person who used ta' whine more about havin' "his crap" stolen from him, or bein' wronged....or this
or that. Ya' need a shrink son, and if he can teach ya' how ta' duel that'd be a big plus too.
I learned a neat word today Huma...it's "cretin", look it up, if I spelt it right, ya' fit the bill right fine. Yer gonna be a big target when I get back....so ya' might as well put on the bulleye helmet, ain't no use tryin' ta' take me on in the ring.

That.....that's just bein' a plain-old putz.

LISTEN UP FOLKS!

What the hell has happened ta' you people?! I look around and I see a hell of alot of weak willed, soft bodied, duelin' idiots. I don't care if ya' like me or not or listen ta' what I say...it ain't never mattered before and it ain't startin' now. I could give a flyin' fig about the "old days" so don't go talkin' about that. What kind of legacy are ya' leavin' the next generation? Nothin' more than weak
overlords and a majority of barons who couldn't duel worth a damn with the damn apponents script.

Geeeeez......thinkin' about the state of affairs pisses me off people. Hell, I was wipin' the wet from behind every one of these RDI's ears and pullin' tissues out ta' clean the noses of %95 of the duelers here before most of ya' even heard of the DoS. I can't put ya' over my knee and spank ya'...although with some of the ladies that might be interestin'...but I can teach ya' all a valueble lesson.

So....

Look for me ta' come back soon, cause when I do, me and a few other people are gonna' shake this place up and see just WHY we love it so damn much.

Until then....hell, I could care less what the hell ya' do. Just don't think of gettin' in my way.

Why?

'Cause ya'll just ain't good enough.

Love ya'!!

BRK

Post scrip thingy: If ya' don't like my writin', spellin' or my favorite breakfeast cereal...well, ya' can't do nuttin' about that either honey.

William,

You write,
>This is called being a "wuss". When
>someone has to look for what they
>consider an
>"easier" target, that's a sign of weakness.

According to you, at least. It may also be a sign of discretion, which from what I've heard, is the better part of valor.

>The Overboy can't do a thing to
>me, in or out of the ring,

So why try?

>It's your basic, average Pansey-arsed,
>political menuever.

Picking my nose could be considered a political maneuver by some today. The issue was between the Baron and the Overlord. The re-alignment I could even take as personal, but it, as is everything else, was turned political when others decided to get involved.

>Post scrip thingy: If ya' don't like my writin',
>spellin' or my favorite
>breakfeast cereal...well, ya' can't do nuttin'
>about that either honey.

Even more evidence that we should leave you and your beliefs alone. From what I know about you, it isn't a good idea to get too worked up about what you do and say, and I'm sure a lot of others know that as well.

The Overlord didn't want to get involved in a fight with you that he knew from the outset he couldn't win. Call him a wuss, but I've learned that the best generals pick their ground to fight on, and that the best battles in history were never fought.

-Walker Boh
Baron of the 12th

PS: I don't quite appreciate having my written words referred to as "crap", but hey, should I return the insult or just ignore it?

Aye, it sounds like someone already wizzed in his corn flakes anyhow by the tone of this.

( Authoress' note... my post wasn't a post, it was a conversation... but I'll run with it. )

Billy.

I'm going to do something special, just for you.
Okay big-mouth... you still mad I kicked your tail in that Tourney a few cycles back? I've got some -important- things to do, rather than kicking your tail around again... but I'll be back soon. So set a dance date aside for me.
You want tough talk, tough... you want a tough duel, I'll give it to you.
By the way... your breakfast cereal tastes terrible... I'm going to buy the factory and close it down.

Drake.

P.S. This note is for Billy... I'm sure he'll appriciate it in the spirit of good fun which it is intended.

G'nort walks along until he comes to some boards, he smiles reading all the sayings, rather entertained at the humor involved.

He sees the note pinned by a dirk.

He chuckles and pulls the dirk out of the corkboard, replacing the note with a simple tack.

"People leave these weapons around like this as if they're so many of them and can afford to waste them like this. Me, I see a useful weapon as opposed to something to just hold up notes. Perhaps I should return this to where it came from."

Grinning as he reads the name on the note, he turns and walks off, flipping the dirk over and over in his hand.
