The Death of Xyclone

Post by DoS Archive » Wed Sep 29, 2004 4:46 pm

Amidst the din of clashing blades and weapons of all sorts, there did appear, a messenger, bearing nothing more than a black rose in her hands. Walking staright towards an unknown person, she purposely strode across the Arena, evry step marked with a sense of determination. She first asked where the known as Xyclone could be found. Upon hearing the name she was directed toward the well-known Warlord who spent much
time in these hallowed rings, currently duelling within these hallowed grounds. Upon seeing her mark, she called him out, delivering her message by means of the black rose she gripped tightly in her grasp. The unknown messenger called upon Xyclone to anser the charges of cowardice that had been leveled against him. He refused, citing the fact that he no longer held the beliefs the Assamite Clan may ask of him. That he was married and had adopted
a child, bothj without the approval of Haqim, Holder of the Sacred Blood.

In spite of his current disservice to the clan, Xyclone was offered a choice, based upon his many years of service and dedication. He would either release his vows of loyalty and fatherhood to someone other than a Clan member or partake in a secret ritual of purity, in order to prove his loyalty was beyond reproach, and the Clan shall always come first. Xyclone did accept the terms, under censure of secrecy to be held until his death, that if he
were to succumb to the Final Death in his venture to prove himself, word should reach those he held most dear to his heart. Those being, the Lady Taylara, his wife, and his adopted daughter Kammissa. The details of his death are somewhat clouded, though his bones shall be given, transported with full Clan honor, to the Lady Taylara Demeri. What follows are the details of his death, as much as can be gathered.

The mark, was one Tristan Calistar, recently "elected" Prince of Chicago. To the best of our knowledge, Xyclone defeated every security fence and alarm as neither local nor kine answered to many calls. As far as we can guess, the mark got wise to our contact, by fair means or foul.

I submit this on behalf of Xyclone Demiri, whose value to the cause has yet to be determined. I submit this on behalf of the Duel of Swords, and to the genuine love I felt toward all those who may yet compete and to those who presently succumb to the lure.
These statements are in final testement to the genuine love he felt for his wife, Taylara, his duaghter, Kammissa, those he came to call friends, and all those that compete in his beloved sport, the Duel of Swords.

The woman pens a short note, tacking it to the cork.

Taylara.

Mine condolances unto thee and Kammi. Tis few words to offer thee save that Xy t'was plain to mine eyes how dearly beloved thee and Kammissa were unto him. Tis I hae known Xyclone a long while. T'was ghostly spirit didst pass through the cavern. Tis mine prayer he hae found a final rest. In thee he found love, a rare and wondrous gift e'en shared for a short while. He shall be remembered.

'Tis a shame Taylara was unfaithful at the end... Just like her first husband.

I hope he never knew, and died with the illusion of a loving wife.

Of course it's your place to make that statement though. Like it's your buisness to drag her personal life out here like this.

Shortly after her marriage to Xy business took him away from Rhydin, and her and Kammi. Little did she know the reason he left Rhydin was because of the love Xyclone held for her and Kammi.
Xy never spoke of his background, it always seemed a painful recollection whenever she had asked and it didn't seem to matter, they were in love. Now it all makes sense, his disappearance after the wedding spurred by his devotion to his family.
The one time she saw him after the wedding he suggested she annul the marriage. Unknowing of the circumstances that surrounded Xy's words, she turned to her close friends, Lady Vanessa Raven, Lady Drakewyn Silvertree, Lady Colleen Lasher, Lord Gnort Talanador, and Lord Shadowsiv.
Following Xy's words, she had the marriage annulled and Kammi was told that Xy had business back in his homeland.
As the entourage approached an eerie chill pierced her heart. Kammi was sleeping when the knock came to the door. Normally she wouldn't open the door to strangers, but something told her she must. As the Clan member relayed the sketchy details of Xy's death tears trailed down her cheeks. With their story told, and what they think to be, the remains of Xyclone Demiri returned to his loved ones, they departed. How was she going to tell Kammi, one
so young to lose so many she loved.
The burial was private, his resting place quietly nestled amongst a gathering of mighty oaks. His headstone, a pair of matching Bastard Swords given them by Leto, King of Covington; his scimitar placed at his ready. A single long stemmed rose and little brown teddy bear are lovingly placed at his feet.

She reads, "Tis a shame Taylara was unfaithful at the end... Just like her first husband.

I hope he never knew, and died with the illusion of a loving wife."

My dear Lupton.. the one who assists those to commit adultery against their spouse is just as guilty. "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife."

By the way Lupton.. I guess you aren't a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. You know.. "Gentleman never kiss and tell."

Lying on her back tucked inside Tay's arm Kammi could hear her mommy cry. Normally she slept in her own room but mommy was sad so she stayed with her In the big room. Not that long ago her first mommy needed her like this too, when her old daddy left them. Her little heart stated to come out of its frozen shell as she released Her Xy was not coming home ever again.... Just like her other daddy. Suddenly the three
year-old felt it difficult to breath as she was learning more a child of her tenderness should ever know.

Carefully she slipped from her mother's embrace to the ground. Picked her new black dress, off the floor where it had been left, and pulled in on right over her pajamas. Belan walked in to the room as if sensing her friend needed her, the panther rarely missed any mood of Kammi's, nudging the small of her back until the child climbed to her back. Tears coming to her eyes and dripping on to the Albino Panther's back they walked somberly out in to
the night.

The grave sight was just as they had left it hours before... Like only a best friend can Belan supported her little cub. Kammi sniffed looking to the ground, "My Xy I miss you." She slipped from Belan's back, with her whole body shaking, to the mound of dirt that hailed the passing of life, "Why you leave, go dead! You say you be wif me now you leave me and momma too." Sniffing she wipes her tears and nose on her little black sleeve. Hugging
the burial mound to her not letting go as she cried herself to sleep. As an alabaster stature guarded over her and her lost daddy...

((Side bar note..... Kammi's name is not Kammissa that is just the SN I have been using for her. She now has her own SN Kammroyn. I'm sorry for any confusion that this might cause))

Lupton,

I find yer spurious accusations most contemptible, and quite befitting of yer general demeanor. If ye had even an inkling o' my support of Tay, ye would know how ridiculous ye now sound. Find yer proof, perhaps some DNA tests from Upper Rhydin, and then come back with yer crap. See ye in the rings.

Shouldn't this have been in that mud slinging contest thread? Sounds remarkably similiar.

Nonetheless, I have plenty of proof. Feel free to contact me privately for details.

Obvious answer.. it's not, but gee.. I think it odd that you track a lady's indiscretions. Who tempted Tay in her first marriage Loopyloo? Perhaps the green eyed monster has reared its head? Let it go.. lest your own sins return to haunt you and I'm sure you have many.
