Well kids, it's that time. Zen's challenge has gone through the red tape. Cutting to the chase, I shall be defending the fourth this monday, April 5th at 9 pm eastern in the basement annex. Leto of Covington has agreed to officiate the match.
As always, I stand under the maize and blue. I duel for no-ones honor but that of the ring I hold. I stand with no second for reasons of, if I am unable to defend this title, for whatever reason, then I shall not hold it. I will not let any defend my position...period. Be it hell or high water, I shall always be there.
Now, for any who care, keep reading, I am including some personal thoughts. Lately, I have been reviewing my dueling, and honestly. I have been sucking eggs when it comes to handling my cattle prod. This is not an excuse, I just seem to have forgotten the basic fundamentals of dueling. Bummer eh? Anyway, I feel a challenge is normally a warlord challenging a Baron or the overlord. Now, due to my latest dueling escapades...I find myself reviewing
these thoughts. Indeed this will be a challenge, but I am sorry to say, not for Zen, but for myself. I feel he has challenged me to "get my head from my posterior and duel like I used to". I challenged Morgan for this ring for numerous reasons which I shall not go into, except one...one of my reasons was to prove to myself I wasn't cursed, and could indeed win this ring back. Self confidence you could say. I did that quite soundly. Now...as I said, I
find myself doubting my own skills. Thus, the next couple nights shall be rather sleepless.
Now, when I first lost the fourth, many things were going wrong in my life. A divorce was the main problem, and the fact I haven't seen my son in some time. Back then, I threw accusitions at everyone and made lots of excuses...all to help overcome my hurting from other things. Well, time has passed, I am at peace with myself in most aspects now. If I lose to Zen, there will be no excuses, except that I feel I have literally forgotten how to duel.
But other than that, losing shall not be viewed as humiliating. I am going to give my all to win, but if I lose, then that's what the fates have planned for me, and I shall accept them with no quilms. Actually a rather busy period in my life right now, if I lose, that would be one less thing for me to worry over.
Well, I think I've said a bunch of nothing, so...untill monday 9ish....I am

Sounds like you're telling yourself this more than you're telling us. And I don't think I'm trying to slam you. But that's only swindig observation. Maybe I should hit you in the head and make you remember.
