I'm really glad I don't pay attention to your long, boring letters, because those who do, seem to argue with your insults and inflexible opinions. I'll just poke a little fun and run away.

M'friend, if you are speaking of the previously presented missive by Jona, and if you make such statements, please present proof where a) she didn't provide a valid reason for her opinion and
b) insulted someone recklessly.

Otherwise, all you are doing is insulting needlessly and basing your wild opinion on little fact, the very thing you scorn.

Lady Jonalyn,

Your last missive, m'lady, was the missive I have been looking for since the beginning. It wasnt filled with personal attacks, not saying that your posts usually are. It was straight to the point of why you find Jaycynda distasteful. It had no "that perfidious bald face lying wench" or any of that disdainful talk. Thats what I asked for in the beginning. Now that I am aware of your veiw of the facts, and you opinions, as I am aware still of my
own, and many others, I feel that we, the two of us, may abandon this matter between us. Now that we have both made our opinions evident, and now that we have both said our share of fair things, as we have also, I admit, said our share of uncalled for things (both of us) we can move on. I hope our argument has not damaged your respect for me. I hope because you dont care for m'lady Ashlea that you will not associate with me. You said yourself
that you judge not by one's associates, so I feel confident that you may, as usual, continue to smile in my direction, as I enter the arena. Know of course, m'lady, that I still hold my views, as you hold yours. But that matter, while not small, is small when presented between us.

Sincerely,
Sir Father Leo Caius Cassius Pride

Sir Father Leo Caius Cassius Pride

Sir, though thee seem to consider our discourse an argument, thou shall forgive me if I dinna consider it such. Perhaps a matter of semantics, sir. In all honesty, sir, I hae yet to truly discern thine views for thee hae ast yet to express thine stance with regard to the matter. Therefore what view thee may or may nae hold yet remains to be discerned.

Perhaps thee wouldst do the kindness of running into a meteor or perhaps arrange to collide with a black hole? I wouldst be happy to arrange transport for thee at the Rhydin Spaceport with a particularly incompetantly built shuttle craft and assure that ist wast fueled with a particularly unstable propellant. I wouldst e'en cover the cost of thine transport. Perhaps thee couldst poke a nebula or perhaps hae a bit of fun exploring the interior of a

One needs to consider the other warlord in this matter. Did he intend to challenge because he wished to see Evan removed, or because he wanted the third ring? In the former, his wish was granted as Jaycy did win. In the latter, he was still able to challenge the new holder of the third ring. The challenge to Evan may have been stolen, but all of his other options of challenging remained intact.

While your words make sense Ally, as I consider it, I don't think that Jaycy breaking the rules should be forgiven because she indirectly did the other warlord a favor. That would be taking away the fact that she broke a rule.
Rules were made to make limits. If Jaycy issued challenge just a few hours before standings were posted, then we'll have more challenges where people challenge before standings are posted. Eventually we'll have warlords who issue challenge before they have even acquired ten peer wins.

I hope that the next time rules are rectified here, there is a clause that prevents people from rescinding an invalid challenge, as well. With this, people will be more careful when issuing their challenges. While Jaycy didn't rescind her challenge in this case, I am sure that the added weight on any challenger's shoulder would have them be more careful, and we wouldn't have to worry about these messes.
Just my humble opinion.

Var and anyone else:

Having just now glanced to this set of posts, I cannot help but laugh. Let me go over a few points.
First off, Jaycy did not break a rule. Why? Because she was granted a looking of her new peer wins by Helix I believe. Why Helix granted it, that will remain a mystery. That is the facts and will stay facts. However, people's thoughts upon the matter will differ like fire and ice.
Next. Both Warlords were to challenge me as a Renegade so I saw no point in "rushing". It ain't the first time I have had a growing que. Having just defended the Third to the honorable Rix, I got notice of two intents of challenging. I gladly accepted the letters from both which were honorable. Jaycy's having been in first, I set up the challenge quickly so the following week, if I happened to win, I could get Lucian in the ring the next weekend.
Now, Lucian was a bit angered about what Helix did and I can't blame him on bit. He even showed up to watch the Challenge match between Jaycy and I. I remember his words well, too. Though not happy about the new peers, he was able to laugh at the match.
"One needs to consider the other warlord in this matter. Did he intend to challenge because he wished to see Evan removed, or because he wanted the third ring?" Lucian and Jaycy challenged me honorably and without personal matters behind their intent to challenge. Both are friends to me. At that time, I openly accepted polite and honorable challenges without reason besides they wanted to better themselves. Only during the holding of the First Ring
did I get challenges where someone had another reason. Seamus, Gnort, Seamus again, and Var. I never had the chance to face Var.
I hope this clears up any questions that may have arrived during this sack of posts.

Respectfully,

<<If you cant understand the feelings of someone who's friend had been killed, the passion behind it, no matter whether it was purposeful or not, dear lord Marzan, I know it wasnt.... if you cant understand how the blood heats under passion, then that makes you cold.>>

If Madame Ashleana wast so sorely upset and felt so deeply and passionately for her friend, wherefore didst she nae present challenge unto Eros Hunrai Marzanhe DeBurgo?

Ast to mine passions, sir, the one who didst make attempt upon mine life now lies dead and cold beneath the sea. So nae venture. if thee will be so kind, to opine upon either mine passions or upon mine coldness, for thee see, I do verra well understand both.

I happen to find Ally to be one of the brightest in the Arena. She thinks things through logically as opposed to letting some personal feelings come into play. I seriously doubt she is either ignorant, and I don't believe she works hard for it.

I think someone is looking for someone else to berate since the other ones are becoming tiring.

Jonalyn,

You're completely out of line. It's very appropriate to make a stand and tell everyone to stop with the name calling and just state facts. I personally find name calling just a way to show whomever you're calling a name, that you have no knowledge of what you're talking about. You're just tossing words at him/her, scraping the surface for something to push him/her off the limit. It's very distasteful and I second Colleen's words.

And on the other hand, people can handle themselves, but what's the problem with sticking up for them? I don't think you even thought about what she was talking about when you picked up your writing utensil and stated your opinion.

This is my opinion, and will stand. I do hope you find this note nonoffensive.
