Then if we need to be sure... take the tree out of the forest and put it in a desolate area, with no life whatsoever. Put a microphone on the ground connected to a transmitter. Drive hundreds of miles away, let the tree fall, and I garantee that the microphone will pick up the sound.

I didn't think there were any African duelers or anyone that has studied in Africa, so I doubt that he means an African slash. However, there should be a difference pointed out between the English slash and the Scottish slash, the two main forms of slashing these days. How this is funny I don't know.

Depending on which direction the squirell is facing, the scenery cound rapidly be going down. So this leaves us with the next question.

Which direction is the squirell facing?

Also could have the scenery going sideways.
