::After reading the messages posted since her arrival in the Arena that first night, ponders on all she has seen and learned and those she has met. Deciding that maybe this is a good time and place, pens a quick note::

Greetings DoS,
I am Talia Layce. I have recently come to Rhydin from the Golden Wood. I have been taken under the wing of Lord Gunthar in order to learn this sport, the traditions, the honor and the sense of family and fun within to Arena and Annex. I look forward to making my Mentor proud and to bringing honor to his and my own name within this sport. I am somewhat shy, so it is difficult for me to introduce myself about. I would like to make new friends and
learn as well of the ways of Rhydin, for I have spent my life secluded in Golden Wood. My weapons are my sword, an ancient blade of Elven make. It is made of myrthil and on the hilt is seen a gryphon, the symbol of my family. I rarely carry it as most I have seen, it comes to my hands at a word of magic in my native tongue. I also have a dagger given to my by Lord Gunthar that I use in duels, this rests in my belt and has a crystal at the end of the
grip. I now reside in the home of Lord Gunthar and would welcome getting to know new friends outside of the Arena as well.
::blinks at how long this has become, thinking her writing skills not quite as shy as her mingling skills::
To those I have met, my deepest thanks for making me feel comefortable here, that I belong. To the rest, I look forward to meeting and getting to know you.
::summoning a pin to attach it with, tacks it to the board in an out of the way spot, a little embarrassed now at her boldness, rose tinting her cheeks and even the tips of her ears as she walks away to find Gunthar, blue eyes shimmering softly at the thought of him::
