Down with the lion..

From: Fang Beset
After much deliberation, I've decided to grace the masses with my challenge.
Reasons, in order of importance:
1. The baroness of the first ring has been absent, and I see no plans of returning.
2. She challenged what I considered a good friend, despite his asking for such.
3. I believe the feminine influence upon the nine rings is degrading the community.
My peer wins may be viewed upon the old boards, if ye dogs wish to scrounge them up.
In truth, I am the

I however can not allow this to pass since you have slapped every female affiliated with DoS, staff and competitors alike, in the face! You have indeed shown your rudeness and disregard for women once again.I understand your first two reasons for wishing to challenge for this ring. However, you overstepped the bounds of good sportsmanship with the third. Remember the next time you try to request a caller to stay next time past their duty hours. I know that the current holder of the 9th ring, Luthien, a woman by the way, stays late often to fill the duelers requests. I would hope that certain members of the staff would take offense to this prattle from you. You indeed have outdone yourself this time. MacKenzie;
Whyfor should Rad take such drastic precautions as and beyond avoiding you? Do you intend to cast him into oblivion by ignoring him as you do me? I doubt you've the fortitude for more than that. The day you abandon your character as a hypocrite will be the day I pay any heed to your rants, and let it be known that were you to attempt an attack on the man I consider my friend, your own days would reach an abrupt halt upon my blade.

Altruis~Your incessant, infantile complaints that I don't pay you the attention you somehow think you deserve from me are, I will admit, flattering in a perverse manner. That you should pay so much attention to even know when I am ignoring you and when I am not speaks of a great deal of concern on your part. Perhaps did you not so often prove unworthy of anyone's attention at all, you would not suffer from these complaints.I find it particularly telling, Draven, that you would defend the pig who made an outrageously vile comment in connection with my wife. I guess this shows, without any further question, that you are very nearly as worthwhile as that which I kick off my boots when I exit my stables.And for you, who abandoned your station, to call me a hypocrite, is laughable. Were it not such a ludicrous accusation, I might even try to address it.You are both welcome to continue proving your infancy to the entire assemblage. Certainly, nobody requires my assistance to see how petty and shrill your bleatings of complaint have truly become. Certainly, what you say about me fazes me not one whit. I grow disgusted, however, with the poison you spew across the landscape. You accuse me of being bitter, and no fun, Altruis... but at least everyone doesn't exude a pained sigh and reach for their drink when I enter the room.~irm

MacKenzie;
Ah, Iain, extensive vocabulary and all. You do manage to near flawlessly mask your avoidance of my initial point with your humorous and, as expected, broad insults. My reference to you as a "hypocrite" was not something I merely selected at random from the satchel of attacks; It is truly as I see you, and have since you chose to join the ranks of my social opposition without any impetus save my publicly berating the Overlord. As you did once state
when we saw eye to eye, everyone is entitled to their opinion and the right to voice that opinion. Apparently, this right applies only to the fellowship that associates with Lord MacKenzie.
You've truly leaped great bounds in blatant attempt to disregard the motivation for my opinion of you as nonexistent. Were you not so self-occupied, perhaps you'd note what is most obvious and forgo any further outward casting of blame.
You are indeed the largest hypocrite I've encountered in some time, MacKenzie.

Unfortunately, Altruis, in your broad attempt to apply motivations to my actions, you hopelessly miss the point.My opposition to you is not a bandwagon action; it has nothing to do with my loyalties or friendships. It has to do with your attitude and demeanor, which I find to be increasingly paranoid, defensive, and pompous. (Coming from me, pompous ought to be telling.)If there is one thing I can't abide, Altruis, it's someone who is simply unable to take criticism, an dloses control when confronted with it. It was my problem with Elijah; and it is what soured me.Perhaps I was wrong.I won't know that until you prove me so.~irm

I am completely and totally aghast at the actions of those you would call friend and find your quick defense of those that rot this sport and this realm from the inside like a fey infection upon a wonderous fruit without thought.
