One night...over two and a half hours....one duel. The first caller slated for duty...doesn't show...the second one is late...the third one doesn't show...two idiots in the background arguing about something called a telephone and whether or not a place called Canada really exists...
What happened to the Duel of Swords that I remember?

I agree, it really has become a joke in DoS.
In DoM and DoF, da callers are ALWAYS on time, and its about 2 callers fer 10 duelers. DoS never gets numbers like dat til 3 am at which time que is already closed. Fer da last 3 weeks da first RDI on call hasn't been showin' up, duels never start at 8 pm, a que keeper might show up, but never a caller. If we're lucky a caller shows up by 9-10 pm.
My most recent complaint would be against RDI KID, he shows up at 2 am ta flirt with Stormi and Vanessa, if we're extremely lucky (its rare) he calls 1-2 duels, dan disappears when da ladies do. Nice service. And I don't wanna hear "DoS wouldn't exist without callers" because DoS wouldn't exist without duelers either, and our callers get PAID ta do da work. Somethin' has ta change soon, a lot of people are mad, we joke about dis in da arena;
perhaps its time ta speak up outisde.

Last night the scheduled caller for the DoF didn't arrive at all. Matt Simon doubled for her and the Outback was closed up early. I'm not looking to accuse anyone of anything, as Kelli legitimately called in sick and Matt was nice enough to fill in. Just refuting a statement that is a little *too* broad in its assertations.

I can understand this. He shouldn't be an official in the first place. Not a caller in the DoS, anyway. However, most of the rest are better than he is. It is my understanding that the 'worst offender' regarding the failure to show on time is actually on leave. Of course, my information could be wrong.

No pun intended for you RDIs, but I must concur. What the hell is going on? I think that you RDI's who "conveniently" cannot attend on schedule, just leave. Why sit there and stir the seed of hope that we'll get to duel one night when you don't intend to come at all? And then refuse to offer explanation for it? I think that someone seriously needs to "modify" the
calling schedule. Peace.
