Phillip old man, didn't you read my posting smart guy? I stated he's into the whole honor crap. And he doesn't have a reason to challenge. Yay.

Cletus,
Reason why you won't say nothing = You know I'm right. I win.

Cletus...

I was five months pregnant at the time I issued that intent to challenge... Are you trying to tell me I should have pressed the challenge and dueled anyway, knowing that I would have to use my own healing magicks, since the Ward does not effect me?
I see a very large difference.
Additionally, I would have dueled Var in a match even if he had lost the ring before I could issue a formal challenge. My friendship was betrayed by the man.
Again, I see a large difference.

Finally... as for "wasting" peer wins... Why waste a cycle's challenge right?

Ron,

You've been here for all of two weeks, how the hell do you know what I stand for?

Gnort,

Read what Var wrote.

Drake,

'Are you trying to tell me I should have pressed the challenge and dueled anyway, knowing that I would have to use my own healing magicks, since the Ward does not effect me?'

I am not implying that in the slightest sense. I stated an intent to challenge just as you had, but you seem to attack me for this. A tad hypocritical I would think. I would not even dream of challenging while I was pregnant, nor do I ever step in the ring with someone who is.
We both had adequate reasons not to press challenge at the time we issued the intent. In that light, I see no difference.

So it's come down to us bein so petty now that we will pick apart a person who challenges every cycle.

Um, Hello it's his right to challenge if he has the peer wins.
So many times when a challenge is made this cork is filled with people bashing, yelling, and simply arguing over why someone challenges.

Maybe we should change the rules of challenging so that only people with honorable and really good reasons should challenge. No more challenging because you just got 10 peers and want to test yourself. No no from now on we should all have good valid reasons.

While I may not agree with every person that comes to challenge, sure I don't think some are worthy (I;m not mentioning anyone here so no one should take offense)
but untill the rules are changed someday, anyone that makes Warlord and amasses 10 peers can challenge.

It's time to accept that folks. There will never be a "perfect" challenger. Everyone has flaws.

I say we go for this one. It's exactly what we should have implemented as it is.

Ron,

Quit obsessing over yourself like that. I mean, come on, find a girl (if it's possible) who likes you and obsess over her. You are getting annoying.

Actually G, was being sarcastic.

However, if you feel that is how the rules should be, then why not go about getting them changed?

I get the feeling this Nort fellow thinks there are too many challenges taking place. Perhaps if his head wasn't so big and his eyes hadn't fallen back into the deepening pits of their sockets, he'd notice that a baron was lucky if they got challenged this cycle. One challenge per cycle (unless you're that Roman who's just asking for it)? This place bores the hairs off my scrotum. I say we strive for
a challenge per month. Are can't ya take it?

I was serious. Not sarcastic. I'd prefer it if there were stricter rules regarding challenges so the pinheads don't challenge simply because they've got their easy 10 peer wins and simply want the rank.

It would be nice if only honorable people could challenge, G, but the question is, who is to say who is "honorable" enough to challenge?

That's the real problem, isn't it. Much why I wouldn't be trying to implement it. Cause if I had my way, more than half the Warlords currently would be unable to challenge. So I suppose for those people it's a good thing I won't have my way.
