This letter is to announce that I am now challenging the Baroness Goldie for the possession of the 13th ring. I do this for a number of reasons, which I shall now list.
Firstly, I enjoyed wearing the 13th ring before I lost it. Unfortunately, I lost it rather quickly. I wish to win it back and defend it more times, and therefore, holding it for a longer period of time. Secondly, I enjoyed being on the Baron's Council. I did feel more a part of the community when I was a Baron. The others in the community did seem to respect me more. Thirdly, I feel that I could be, in a sense, a better Baron then Goldie.
This is not to put her down, but I feel that she does not take part in the community like a Baron should. This is just my opinion though. Another reason is that Goldie has not been challenged as of yet since she has won the ring. I feel that she is in need of a challenge, and I shall be the one to provide it. A fifth reason, and the final I shall list, is that Goldie bested me in a duel, and I wish to prove to myself that I can defeat her. I did
feel bad having lost to her, and I need to make up for this within myself.
I look forward to my first pressed challenge against a Baron.
