Marit approached the Castle of Dragonsblade, in company with an aura of content and an Indian hum. Hearing footsteps behind her, she smiled, identifying the couriers walk immediately.
"A good day tis surely, " she asked, swaying around, "Aye Simon?"
Her smile had been contagious and he couldn't help but return the brightness.
"Aye, M'lady. Love will do that and perhaps a missive for ye as well." He held out the parchment. "Have a good day!" He walked away, finishing the hum that she had started; this doing holding her smile as she remembered the day he had asked her to teach it to him.
As she walked up the steps, she untied the ribbon. Through the great oak doors, she continued, down the corridors. Whenever she read missives, her habits were to comfort a seat in the library. While sitting back, she unrolled the parchment, immediately inhaling a scent of Pineapple sage.
"Ah, tis been a long time since I 'ave heard from him, " she said aloud. "it be a nice happen'n." She placed her eyes upon what she had always thought to be the neatness writing style and began to read:
Dearest Marit,
I am terribly concerned about Sara. It seems that the man she is currently engaged to, has taken to filling his time with something other than her. She has become a bit mopey and seems to be dragging about the cottage on a daily basis. I have also noticed that when she does go out, she returns in a rather unhealthy state...smelling of hard drink and all. I have seen her spending some time with another man, though I have yet to meet him or
even talk to her about him. Has she by any chance talked to you about all that is going on? Is it possible for us to get together sometime this week and discuss my concerns about her? Please let me know.
Gauriel
This news brought her to an immediate rise from her seat but drop with the smile. The parchment snapped back into a roll as it sailed a short distance to the seat. She paced back and forth, her look becoming a bit more distraught.
"What to do...what to do?" she murmured, thinking upon last night.
She had gone to a match to support and cheer Daelin in a TDL duel, only to witness Sara in drunkenness. Or what she thought to be drunkeness. With knowledge of Sara's past, a problem with drinking due to Llen's disappearance and now the actions displayed coming forth from Percy's disappearing, how could she think otherwise. She had offered to escort Sara home to safety, but her friend reacted in stubbornness. It wasn't until Marit
resorted to disguise her true intentions by claiming that she wanted to talk about the wedding, Sara agreed.
Sara was not drunk like Marit had thought. Once they had reached the cottage home, Marit discovered that the mood was anger and not intoxication and so she dismissed the previous concern she had harnessed with a sigh of relief.
But now, with this news from Gauriel, Marit was forced to rethink the situation and invite the concern back. Gauriel was an honest man and Marit did not doubt his words. She had to know more.
She snapped her fingers.
"Ah, I wonder how much time Jaycy had spent with Sara. The two certainly seemed to have quite an interesting repoire, last night. I do nae 'ave much time to deal with this matter and plan for a wedding too. I must talk with her and find out more, besides I did want to ask Jaycy to be me matron of honor."
Marit left the castle quickly and headed off to find the gypsy. She would give answer to Gauriel's missive once she found out more.

Having not left the Castle yesterday to go dueling, Dae was idly wandering around Sunday afternoon. He was in a particularly good mood, considering he was leaving in a week. Making his way into the library, he found a crumpled note on the floor and read over it aloud:

His face paled as he read over it.
"Cripes..Now this whole thing is going to blow up, and wouldn't you know..I have to be around when it does."
He thought about destroying the letter..looking into the fireplace which was crackling..then he just shoved it in his cape and wondered where Marit went..she'd been gone all night..then he remembered that that man wanted to talk with her and he quickly stormed out..wanting to salvage his friend's engagement or delay the split as long as possible..first though, he had to find his own fiance.
