Challenge for the 13th Results (Gold vs. Magnus)

~ Let it be heard ~

I, RDI Stormi, did here by bear witness to the Challenge issued forth by Warlord Magnus Eques to Baroness Gold for the right to wear the 13th Baronial Ring in the Duel of Swords.
Warlord Eques dueled under the colors of Polaris, black with a central Red Star. Standing as his Second was the honorable Warlord, Var Medici-Giovanni. The Warlord did duel for the honor of his deceased Mother, who he still feels watches over him. His weapons of choice, were a hatchet named Drachen's Hatchet and of course his trusted sword, Dual Blade.
Baroness Gold, dueled for the honor of her Lord Luther Zar. Her trusted katana, Sanctuary, lead her into battle. The Baroness did duel under a banner of purple satin embroidered in gold with her Family Crest, signifying her loyalties. She declared no Second, sensing the need unlikely and asked no one to intercede on her behalf. Her intentions this eve were to defend the Ring, and the honor it has brought her family.
The duel proceeded as follows in the Ring of Honor:
RD 1: Warlord Eques fancily stepped around the fancy lateral parry by Baroness Gold to take the opening point. 1-0 Warlord Eques

RD 2: Baroness Gold swept in low only to find the Warlord ready with a fancy circular parry to deflect it to the sand. 2-0 Warlord Eques

Rd 3: Both the Baroness and the Warlord reach high in a matching pair of high cuts. 2-0 Warlord Eques

RD 4: Baroness Gold fancily steps back only to have her feet swept out from under her by a well timed low cut by Warlord Eques. 3-0 Warlord Eques

RD 5: Baroness Gold streaks in high, only to spin round as the Warlord Eques fancily ducks from harm's way. 4-0 Warlord Eques

RD 6: In a last valiant attempt the Baroness lunges and thrust, missing the Fancily side stepping warlord who has earned the right, by duel, to wear the 13th Ring of DoS. 5-0 Warlord Eques

Warlord Magus Eques defeats Baroness Gold, 5-0 in 6 rounds.

The new Baron declares himself Renegade to the Crown.

Congratulations Baron Eques and well fought Lady Gold.
