A copy of the letter sent to the people he would only like to hear about it. He simply copied it on a seperate sheet of paper so all could see and not just a few. He attached it to the cork and it read:

I am hereby challenging for the right to hold and wear the 2nd ring. This being my first challenge match, I hope this to be very pleasant and a guide for later events. I want this as a good experience to know what it is like to challenge. My challenge is set in my mind to, Lucian.
Also, my reasonings... (Lucian may want to know...) My first reason was written above for a good experience of a first challenge match. Secondly, I would like a baron with a more active status in the Arena. Thirdly, the man has not been challenged since I can remember and I would like to test the man. And finally is that 2 is my favorite number! :)

I've seen Lucian around almost everytime I have been in the Arena. Maybe because I actually know what Lucian looks like and actually say hello to him if he is around, but the guy is pretty quiet. I am in the Arena at least once a dueling weekend, and if Lucian is too, that seems active enough for me. If you really wanted to challenge someone who hasn't been around much, challenge someone like Gimmzak.

In the three months I've been here and the month and a half nonstop dueling I did. I never saw him. I dueled every week for about every day. Gaining wins and then gaining peers. I'd say he duels about once every two months if he does duel. Me, I duel atleast 5 a week. Who's more active? You do the math.

I was not looking for a bashing, I claimed a simple challenge. The reason he hasn't been challenged in who knows when is because he is never around. No one to see how he acts. Hiding under the bed covers. Yet Lucians friends stick up for him, you guys think he's in the Arena a lot after seeing him about once. Well, where is everyone's sense? I meant this challenge for mostly fun but with a few serious motives until he came at me with insults
and you guys being oblivious, go on me. I find that to be utter idiocy. I'm sorry for any discomfort, but my challenge stands. Good luck Lucian. I hope you stand by your blade as well as your mouth.

I thank you for correcting me in such a barbarian way. Before acting like such a usual teenager and being so irrational, make sense. I wasn't sure of the cause, Cas told me that. If you would have told me that in the first place we could have saved a lot of trouble.

It does to myself. Opinions are opinions. And my opinion on being a baron is to atleast be around. And no, you do not see him around a lot. Once does not mean a lot. First off, all challenges should be *very* important, if one isn't, it shouldn't occur. Opinion? Maybe, but considering we have 1000 duelers and only 13 rings to share between 'em, I'd say I make a valid point.
Secondly, ya called Lucian inactive. After many duelers spoke up ya fell back on "I duel more, you do da math". Well sir, is simply dueling more what defines worth? Should I say I am more worthy because I've been here 3 yrs and you've been here 2 cycles? I guarentee I've dueled more dan almost if not everyone here in DoS, and I'm not inherently more worthy just because I duel more.
Lastly, you say we are oblivious. How many people have ta tell ya Lucian is active before it gets inta dat skull of yers? You wanna call everyone a liar? Is everyone stupid but yourself...hmm, sounds conceded ta me.

You amuse me. The reasons are personal and not meant for public display, but... you do. Lucian is a far more active Baron than a few others are. I don't know the man personally, but I do know who he is... because he *is* active. There's no other way I would know him.
It is obvious to me what your motivations are - it's the same issue that you and I have been divided on from day one. Since our last conversation, though, we seem to have mutually agreed to let each have their own set of beliefs, and I will continue to honor that.
You will understand, however, if I sit on Lucian's side of the ring during your Challenge.
