Jeff,
I have never seen him in my life, that means something to me. Also, you exaggerated my post. He may have dueled more overall, but he hasn't lately. Why? Because he hasn't been around since who knows when (which explains inactivity.). I understand he was around two weeks ago. Congrats. Tell me how I've been here 3 months and never seen him. Maybe it's a coincidence that he isn't around the exact same time I am, but I highly doubt it.

I was thinking about taking back my challenge on the case that I started to feel I would not be a very good baron. since I was insulted with such an ill-temper, I changed my mind. Can't blame me, can you? If he would have presented himself with more courtesy to his challenging opponent, things would have turned out differently. Obviously he's a man of more friends, I myself, have pretty much no friends. But after seeing him on the rampage (Lucian),
I see myself as a better baron. I don't see him as a well defined, honorable and respecting baron. And people say if you don't like it, do something about it. I am. My definition of a person that insults me as such is a man that fears the truth. That explains itself.

Drey,

Perhaps this would also mean he has never seen you, and that would mean something to him. Ever think about that?

Then why did you open your mouth and act like you did?

Would you like me to have come to you and asked your permission first? Seems to me I don't have to explain myself at all to you. Maybe next time you should learn what is really going on, instead of acting like you know everything...

It is customary to bash any challenge by someone who has fewer friends than the one with the Title.

If you're a title holder and have alot of friends, you can do no wrong. If you're a challenger and have few friends, you become an evil person.

It was unnecessary to treat this challenge as verbally violent as it has been handled.

Much more of a reason why I am glad I am not dueling any longer.

The young girl fumbled through the posts recalling a similar event about a month ago. Something the Baron Jeff wrote caught her eye.

First off, all challenges should be *very* important, if one isn't, it shouldn't occur.

After a moment's pause, she looked back to an announcement he had made.

Just be sure and show up with lots ta eat and drink cause I'm gonna need ta be really intoxicated should I lose ta Marta. Well, I suppose I'll drink a lot if I win too.

She failed to find the importance of that particular challenge, but she supposed the baron didn't have much a choice on the matter, and left it at that. She pulled an ink pen from her pouch and penned:

I'm behind you, Drey. Good baron, bad baron, who cares? Just do what you love to do, and kick his butt.

Gnort,

You would most likely be among the first people crucifying Drey for challenging if he wasn't in HDT, so please, enough with your holier-than-thou attitude? I know I'm really tired of it.

Sartan,

You speak before you know anything. I don't care what you're tired of. I will continue to give my opinion on matters as I choose. Noone can stop me from doing such.

As for the challenge, I neither approve nor disapprove of it, because it doesn't concern me, or the Former House. It's just typical of the Arena Patrons to open their mouths and attack someone for challenging. I only attack those whom -I- feel are far from Worthy.

I recommend you asking me about my opinions before deciding who I would or would not crucify next time.

Drey,

Dueling does not make a Baron active in the Community. And a power dueler, such as yourself, is not the best criteria for being a Baron, or a reasonable justification.

If you would have simply said you wanted to challenge because he hasn't been tested in awhile, that would have been an excellent and reasonable justification that was short and sweet. But to go on about inactivity and such just because you have never seen him is just ignorant, IMHO.

I am usually in the Arena once a weekend, and usually I happen to see Lucian stop by for a few and say hello, maybe get in a duel or two. If once a weekend is not active enough, then what is?

I can't say how active Luc has been, since I haven't been dueling as often as others.
I have a problem with these challenges because I respect both Luc and Drey, and it is hard seeing the challenge end up like this; two people who I see as friends angry at one another.
Either way, may you both duel well.

As far as I am concerned..::getting this last bit in:: Ecore, this challenge does not have anything to do with inactivity anymore. I haven't seen him which doesn't mean anything. But, yes Ecore, I am testing him. Now, this challenge has mutated into the reason of insults. He forced it. After reading I realized that my reasoning of inactivity is as dumb as can get as
many CLAIM to say they have seen him and such. You guys have successfully changed my mind about that topic.

Pushing that aside, and focusing on what happened after my message on challenge. For example, Ecore. If you challenged a duelist because of the reasons you thought were right and you were insulted by the man you challenged saying how he'd crush you. (Step on you, call you whatever name... Start referring to you as a child. The usual.) After all of this, your mind had been changed for one of your reasons for challenging. BUT, something took it's
place. And for me, that was the insults. For his complaining, distasteful insults, and horrible bickering... I still stand with my challenge. My final decision until I get to talk to him in private.

Drey,

Your asking the wrong person about when you challenge if this happens how would you feel. In case you haven't notice I haven't bothered challenging since coming back, because I usually get a barrage of hate fan mail/posts to the corkboard when I do. And in case you hadn't noticed or figured it out, I am not the most popular person around here, and people love to line up to be champions for tests against me and so forth with very little who will
willingly stand by my side pubically. That is why I am a loner now, but that doesn't mean I am going to shut my mouth.
